Nothing has been determined yet. But I think tonight is likely going to be his last skate as an amateur... I bought a ticket of WC expecting him, though......

I'm crashed. I've been comforting myself that whatever happens here, he will have chance to take his final bow before his loving audience at Worlds.

Not really certain but according to some twitter with pic from Sochi announcement,
1st through 6th placed skaters are invited to perform in Gala. Dai will be in EX!!!

Regarding whether he is competing in the Worlds, in the interview of this when three were asked "now you have the Saitama Worlds to compete next?" or such, Daisuke's "hai!" was the most positive, crisp and clear response. (LOL) So it's more upto his knee condition?

I am selfish and I'd like to watch his super Sonatina and BM once again at Worlds.
But if he is in pain    and wants to rest....of course I will agree with his decision.

I have exactly the same feeling. 

BTW I'm still in LA spending a night at the airport ticketing zone before my last flight due to another mess of my flights. (61 hours past since I left the hotel.. Gosh) but it was a perfect remedy having a window seat from Kiev with jet noise to shed all the sweat out of my eyes as much as I wanted.  

Hi Twind. I can just imagine how you must be feeling after seeing Dai skate
his beautiful programs live. It was so emotional for me watching on TV.
If I was in audience with you rascals I would have been a mess but they
would have been tears of joy he was so amazing.

Hi Twind!   I hope you already arrived home safely by now. Thank you for the great report from Sochi!

I just watched a morning show and it aired a few Dai-chan’s comments which I saw the first time.

“(The arena was) like a home rink. A lot of people cheered for me. I got huge power from them.”
“I think various things are necessary to win in the Olympics. Now I feel, that’s life.”

Thank you very much to those rascals who flew long way to Sochi! He was aware of and helped by your power a lot on the ice.

Hello all, I got home last night, more dead than alive and with a high fever. It only took me 18 hours toi get home, so nothing compared to poor Twind: go fellow Rascal!!!

It was incredible to be there to support Dai-chan who was so brave and such a True Champion!
I am so very proud of him... I have no words to express my respect for him.
He is a true Hero. He spread Love all over the world, only the purest heart can do that.

Thanks for your words and for sharing your emotions. Dai-chan enchanted all who watched Games and I am so glad that you, Captain, and other Rascals had the chance to be there!!

Four days have passed and still shivers run through my back and tears come to my eyes. Love was in his eyes, in his beaming smile, on ice and at K&C .

I feel proud of being a Dai-chan fan and proud to speak it loudly!!

Dai-chan appeared in an evening TV show today and was interviewed by Shizuka. He looked good. His face looked calm, gentle and a bit refreshed. I’m so relieved.

He is an empty shell now, as he had put all his strength into the game. Nothing is left in him.
Regarding his future plan, he said,
Right now, I can’t see even what my true mind is. I will consider my future after the Worlds is over. I doesn’t think I will skate next year but I haven’t made up my mind yet.

I don’t know what he means exactly. Is he going to retire that’s why he won’t skate next year? Or, does he think there is possibility to take a rest next year and then come back?

Shizuka said the speed and expression of his FP was the best in the last group. She also said the arena was filled with D1SK towels and national flags, she couldn’t believe the place was Russia. Dai-chan answered he didn't feel like it was "away" at all. He found a lot of peopele came to support me and it gave him huge power.

Takahasi-senshu's skate is the best one which made people seeing it happy. It was something transcendent and celestial. I cried when I saw that smile, and I renewed my thought that figure skating is such a beautiful and wonderful thing.

Thank you, Miyu! I understand he feels like an empty shell. It's an emotionally draining experience, one that comes after a very emotional and difficult season already.
Hell, I feel like an empty shell myself, I can only begin to imagine how he feels. It will be hard to find the motivation to go to the Worlds even.
