Dai-chan will appear in TV show "Bokura no Jidai ボクらの時代" on 1st Augusut (7:00am-7:30am JST).

He appeared in the same show two years ago before the injury, with Tatsuya Fujiwara (actor) and Kantaro Nakamura(Kabuki actor). It seems they will get together again.

Thanks so much for the heads up, miyu! I really enjoyed the last Bokura no Jidai, so I'm looking forward to the reunion of those three and seeing them talk about how things have changed in the past two years. But geez, 7 am on a Sunday!? Can I get up for this? Well, I guess it shouldn't be so bad since I used to stay up until/get up in the middle of the night to catch Daisuke programs on KeyHole TV while I was in the US.

Dai-chan attended JOC(Japanese Olympic Committee) Sports Award Ceremony and Japan's delegation gathering for 2010 Youth Olympic Games on 11th Aug. He received an outstanding performance award from JOC.

He sent a message to young Japanese athletes "I hope you, all your trainings will pay off. As the purpose of the game is also to promote international goodwill, I'd like you to interact with athletes from each country and make your future friends. I will root for you from Japan."

Takahashi will go to Hokkaido after the ceremony and hold a training camp until 24th. He is planning to train intensely 4F and other things. "I'd like to work hard in order to win my two consecutive title in WC."

I`ve got that strange feeling that I`m talking to myself. Seems like I`m the the only one person to write in forum these days.
I can not translate it with translating programm, because it`s not in text format, just the picture.
But it`s interesting for me, because I was always curious, why Dai prefers Puma training clothes (he wears Puma even when he was child).
Does it explain it?

Puma is one of Daisuke's sponsors. A few weeks ago, Puma held a talk show with Daisuke. Fans could apply to attend if they bought over 10,000 yen worth of merchandise in the Puma store. I would have loved to attend, but it was held right after I left Japan (and I wouldn't have bought 10,000 yen worth of Puma stuff anyway).

News has been slow since the end of FOI, but I'm sure we'll be getting more once the start of the season rolls around.

As far as I know, these events, news and TV programs are scheduled for the next couple of weeks. We need to wait a little more.

EVENT: Dai-chan will attend the event "Asian Children's Summit" as a special supporter in Osaka. The event is held by the organization called "Send to 2050 Project". Dai-chan is one of its board members.

And even this is a very short footage of Piazzolla's tango, but looks wonderful!!

BTW, people is saying the exact music Dai-chan uses in the FP is Tango Siempre (artist name) 's "Invierno Porteno". (Probably "Primavera Portena" is also used.) I downloaded the piece from itunes. Very beautiful beautiful music, indeed. Great choice.

According to these news,
In the open practice yersterday, he skated his new FP, Piazzolla's Tango, and checked the details of it with Pasquarle. The feeling of quad has been coming back to him. He landed a 4T but he made many mistakes and falls overall. He said "Still 30-50%. This program is the one which will bring me to higher level. It isn't an easy one that I can skate immediately, so I'd like to work it out gradually as the season goes on."
Now he is feeling calm with both expectation and anxiety. He is going for 4T in JO.

Dai-chan talked about "pride" to the children. To become a person of international standard, children have to build pride inside themselves.
