Wow....I'm so happy today: Anna&Luca won gold and Caro bronze, in her last competition (and after an Oly medal)     

Sorry Akko could not get podium but overall she did good. Her new white costume was superb.

I think Dai-chan can be very very happy with Mao's gold medal and result of Team Japan in general. I can easily imagine Dai dancing happily in front of tv

Mao was magnificent so happy for her! Amazing performances for her in both the
Short and Long programs, she deserves that Gold Medal.

Caro not her best skate but for me she was fabulous and so glad that both her
and Mao's last skates earned them medals. Such a good way to end their careers.

The Russian girls Julia and Anna were great too!

Oh I loved Akiko's dress too she has the most lovely costumes! No medal for her
but she should be proud of her performances she is a beautiful skater. She
does not have the technical skills under COP of the top ladies but artistically
she moves me every time she skates. I will miss her along with Mao and Caro
an end of an era.

Congratulations to the medalists and to all the Ladies it was a good competition!

Everyone, thank you for sharing information, thoughts and live reports!    due to work and time difference I missed almost everything, so I tried to catch up by reading.  Ladies free is the only competition I managed to watch live from start to end. Incredible. So happy for Mao  , she so much deserved this  .   Caro seemed nervous before FS, so I wasn’t suprised there were errors , but her short was made in heaven and something I will never forget   .  PATTINA, congratulations!    Julia, Anna, Ashley did just great. And my bird, my precious Akko-chan...  I am so happy she is invited to the Gala.

Here is the Gala List. I don't see Kozuka or Kanako on the list. I find that strange
because usually all of the Japanese skaters are invited to the Gala when the competition
takes place in Japan other countries do the same no matter where they place.

Does anyone know what time Gala is in Eastern Standard Time?
