| https://youtu.be/zYHzuG8WZ5MHere's one more video of Rinkai fund raising. They have raised about $120.000, but it is so far away from the goal of $1.800.000. I have a great fund raising Idea that benefits fans as well as Dai. What about selling a lottery nationwide for about 200 yen a piece? They just got to sell 750.000 to reach the goal. The first prize? 10 people to have dinner and a talk with Dai in a nice restaurant in Tokyo This dinner and a talk should be broadcasted through TV, so that TV station will cover all theoperation cost of this lottery. I am serious, because I really want Dai to concentrate on his practice. This way, it will have a maximum impact on fund raising and minimu effort on Dai. Let's do it , guys. What about making formal suggestion to Dai s management? | |

| Thank you for the link, Genki I love your lottery idea I believe Daisuke's agent has his own site, there must be some contact info there. And, once again, I'm very impressed with how much Daisuke does for charity | |

Looks like Daisuke performed Tango de Roxanne there. TV will not broadcast it, probably. They didn`t show last years charity show with Shizuka, Dai and Yuzuru as well. He seems to be in good shape. But pink T-shirt and his hair looks really crazy. Genki, they need 1 million 800 thousand dollars? Then if Dai`s 60000 fans would donate 30 dollars, that would be enough. I think we need to contact his agent and offer him to open an bank account where his fans, including us, foreigners, could donate. I myself would be more than happy if Dai had one less problem to worry. I hate wasting his time, he need it for preparing to Sochi. Didn`t he even sacrifice his personal life to achieve his level of skating? About your idea. Imagine aunties` husbands during their dining with Dai on TV show. Then I can`t accept Dai`s being sort of prize or toy, whatever. After that, buildings need constant care. What are their plans? FS is not sport for everyone, so I understand government`s disinterest for funding it. Swimming for example is better for medals, general health of schoolkids, etc. I wonder, what if Dai would place in Kurashiki his future Academy? Small town is good place for it, I think.

Lil, I, too, think, they won't broadcast it. But they don't even have to do that, they could simply upload videos on YT. Looks like there was a cameraman at the show, who probably filmed everything and everyone. Why not start a YT channel with the videos from the show then? It's free, it's not all that much work. Why not post a bank account under those videos so that people from around the world could donate? If they need money so badly, they could try better and harder. Sitting and waiting till Daisuke will provide them with millions, is kind of... weird. Figure skating has moved from TV to internet long ago, so why not use the technology? The rink management really needs to be more inventive if they want to keep the facility in the future. And why film the entire show and then share only 5 seconds of Daisuke's skating? I don't get it - Chris wrote:

| Minnasan, thank you all sooo very much for your comments, links, ideas etc. :-))
Daisan looks far better again, I really thought inbetween that he lost his attractivity due to his stress (it showed on his face, his body, I found). Now it is fine again :-)
Genki, the idea is great! Or the idea with donation data below any of Daisan's youtube video. There are surely many good ideas. Why do the responsible people don't come up with good / better ideas. I also think that it is not fair making Daisan do all the work, he is almost working like a "slave", he really should have more time for his figure skating to find what he would like to do/improve and, of course, to have some time to himself ... Daisan, go for it, gambatte ne!! :-)
Cheers Gudrun.
By the way, I also would like to see something else than tango; I just would like Daisan to test what else there is for him :-)

- Forgive me for going OT but, did any of you vote in this poll?
I know it's meaningless, but it would be nice to have Dai in the final round!
http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=84261 I think on the one hand that poll is meaningless, because it doesn't change anything in ISU ranks and medals count. But on the other hand I wish Daisuke saw that poll and realized how many people stand behind him, love and support his skating. At the moment he's there with the greats of the sport because of all the years of hard work, because he always tried to improve, tried to be different, to be the best. His efforts pay off. Daisuke's one of the most popular male figure skaters. Which is flattering but at the same time is a big responsibility (yes, I'm talking about those endless tangos and possible godawful programs by Mr Morozov). - fosse wrote:

I SO want to see that 4Lz! 4 Lzs must be harder for Daisuke than 4Fs. - ostile17 wrote:

| Thank you for the links, ostile 17. Very interesting poll and fabulous video of Dai and Shizuka. Yes, he seems to be so happy and relaxed in spite of these busy days. He even said no private time is necessary for him until Sochi. He only needs a good room to stay and relax. He makes us happy, doesn't he?!?! | |

panther gave us the the link of previous award when that russian forum members ''Best foreign male skater award of season 2009-2010'' awarded to Daisuke. https://daisuke-takahashi.forumotion.com/t39p390-video-of-daisuke-takahashi#8705It was before gala at FGP in China, season 2010-2011 Do you remember Kozuka crushed to Dai, then Dai`s body was hurted and it was painfull LP after that? So their award was very heart-warming for me that time.
