| Great look for Dai! He is like a chameleon so many different styles and he always looks fabulous. I agree Pattina he does look a little like a "cool bad boy". No news on his schedule yet. My wish is that he stay in Japan for awhile longer and do more ice shows. But I know that it is entirely possible that he won't. This uber auntie fan misses his skating so much. Thank goodness for youtube! | |

| Hello Twind! Thanks for the link! Another amazing person, like you, helping us to understand Dai-chan's world. What would we do without you! As usually with Dai-chan, I cried and laughed at the same time watching the video... Here is a gifset of some Dai-funny moments from the video: http://iguana012.tumblr.com/post/137643666221/the-best-of-unco-dai-taken-from-the-real-athleteOnly one thing is missing for me - romantic Dai looking for a four-leaf clover! I still can't get over this Also - I'd love to see what could he do now with his Rachmaninoff program! | |

| Thanks ilica and Twind for all links. I've just finished to watch it. And I'm still in a deep ocean of feelings. - ilica wrote:

As usually with Dai-chan, I cried and laughed at the same time watching the video... Me, too!!! Tears out of joy and tenderness, not sadness. Dai left a huge legacy. He might go on skating in shows, he might say "stop it" and follow another path.... the road we walked together will never disappear (as the song says). The lovely moment when he talks about his plans for Halloween his face lights up with expectation and he looks like an adorable excited kid Thank you Dai-chan from the bottom of my heart just for being yourself.

| If you can watch FujiTV via KHole, a tv show is ongoing.
They will show Daisuke dubbing The Little Prince. I've seen a brief anticipation. I don't understand if he is the narrating voice or dubbing some character. But OMG... his voice is able to melte ice!!!
Try and be patient. He will be aired during "Entertainment" section

Audible is an application to listen to all different genres of reading materials such as nursery tales, novels and business books. On this occasion Takahashi recited a children’s book of his own choice, “The Little Prince”. Takahashi said, “this is a book for men or women of all ages and I wish this to be listened across all groups of people. And I’d like to hear their impressions of my reading." This recording is going to be distributed from Today, 27th as a special content. (Sponichi 1/27/2016 Paper version)

| Above they are the pitures on Sankei Web paper and this is the translation of the article. http://www.sankei.com/sports/news/160127/spo1601270024-n1.htmlDaisuke Takahashi, the prince of figure skating, recited “The Little Prince” and said: “It overlaps the struggles of my own whose future undecided”On 27th of this month “the Little Prince” recited by a figure skater Daisuke Takahashi (29) was added on the list of contents on Amazon Japan’s audio reading materials of “Audible”. With monthly fee of ¥1,500 (about $12), with the first month of free trial, you can join the program using an Application on your smart phone and get unlimited access to the materials. Mr. Takahashi invited; “I’d like this to be listened by many different people” introducing his hearty work. After he retired from competing on October 2014, he performed in ice shows and study the language in New York City. During his recording session on the 13th in the studio in Shibuya, Tokyo He frankly shared his impression of the first experience of reciting a book, “I already knew my verbal articulation was bad but following the words with my eyes in time was also a challenge.” In the Control Room (the room for the director and other staff) an apologetic low voice saying “can I do it one more time?” was quite often heard from the recording booth. Even when the staff felt that it went quite good, he gave himself thumbs-down over and over “for it went reading-line monotonous” to remind us the stoic way of his days as an athlete. The book he read is “the Little Prince” by newly translated by Keijiro Suga (Kadokawa Tsubasa Library). The original is the world-famous fantasy of the deep interaction of the hearts of “I” and “the Little Prince”. He himself chose this title “because this overlaps the struggles of my own whose future is pretty undecided”. Mr. Takahashi says, “I think it is a book to make you aware once again that things look very different depending on which direction you see them from. Especially after I retired from competing and had no major purpose in my life, I am at a loss and every day I change what I would want to do. But this story suggests me here and there that it may be OK, from many points of view I may have some final place to reach to and that makes me relax and breathe. What I picture myself and what other people see in me are very different from each other and since I got no clear goal it would cause me waver and that overlaps this book.” He sees his current situation to connect with the story. While spending time of charging in his life based in New York City, Mr. Takahashi says, “it is the time to see and feel many different things now. It’s probably all right not to have a goal yet and wander around. I am feeling like, I hope I can find something in five or ten years or so”. He eagerly added, “I want to continue to try what I want to try and experience successes and failures” How will the reading of Mr. Takahashi during which he was relating his situation to the book be received by his fans and audio book regular users? “When I thought I did it well I felt good, and that is similar to how I felt when I could do things in the skating practice. I definitely hope many different people listen to it and tell me about their impressions.” Though they are done by two different things, the body and the voice, Mr. Takahashi finished to express in the same way as he did in figure skating, and now he is boldly asking for the score from the serious judges.
