| Some withdrawals here: Johnny Weir, S/S. Who do you think will win the Men's competition here? Men Entries | |

| Thank you for starting this thread, ostile I think Florent Amodio may win this one. And if he does, he will earn a place in GPF ahead of either Daisuke or Yuzuru given their possible 3rd place finish in NHK, because 4+1 beats 2+3. So.... go Jeremy! Aliona and Robin not participating makes GPF pairs event rather blah for me. Wishing Aliona a speedy recovery | |

| Go Jeremy indeed.... and for more reasons than one! Careless of the JSF to have both Dai and Hanyu at NHK!!! | |

| I don't know about the Men. Florent does have a good chance to win here. I hope that Jeremy (fingers crossed) skates to his potential and medals. He came in 5th at SA. I was sad to hear about Aliona. Their withdrawal opens up the door for the Canadian pair D/R to take Gold. I am not crazy about this couple but they have a high TES and I think they will beat K/S on that. I hope I am wrong as I really think that that K/S are the better team but they can be inconsistent and make little mistakes. | |

| According to members of FSU who attended today's practice Jeremy is really in bad shape looking miserable and very nervous... Thank you Jeremy!!!! | |

I agree, I can't stand D/R: I mean he doesn't look so bad but she is all over the place and I can't stand to look at her! Sad!!! K/S on the other hand, are such a great couple, I really like them. I hope all the TES in the world won't make those two win, and Yuko and Alexandr will win gold!

| Shyla, that page you linked isn't a feed I'm afraid, it's where they post Eurosport TV schedule. Here's a feed (found via hahasport): http://www.hahasport.com/v-2/18/180/v-398188.htmlKeep in mind FS isn't Eurosport's favorite sport, they can always cancel or move broadcast without warning and show curling or something just as exciting instead. Russian Sport: http://tvforsite.ru/(the channel above TLC, called C||opT 2) | |

| Thank you, Chris Just finished watching men's SP. Looks like NHK- guys can relax: Florent Amodio bombed big time today -- he fell on his opening quad as well as 3A, missed the combo too. Jeremy is in 1st: he didn't attempt the quad which proved to be a winning strategy in this field. Takahito Mura did very well. I think he can medal tomorrow. | |

| Hi there :-)
I have just watched the men's short programme. Jeremy was fantastic!! I just love his programme! Congratulations!!
Takahitosan was also very good - well done :-)))
But there were very unpleasant skating scenes! What happened to Florent? It was a catastrophe, very hard to watch and I felt sooo sorry for him ... Tomasz, 7th place ... oh dear ...
Did anybody else watch?
Cheers Gudrun.

| Sorry guys for giving you a wrong link and thank you for the correct one. I had to work today so I only got to see the pairs competition live. K/S skated very well and deserve 1st place. D/R in second I just don't understand this couple. Their skating to me is bland. The Chinese couple in third skated much better than their last GP.
Thrilled that Jeremy is in first and good for Takahito and Brian for coming in second and third. Poor Florent he had a rough skate. Maybe he will do better in his FS.

| Hi guys! I have just watched the men's short program. I'm really happy for Jeremy and Takahito. Mura has great chance to medal. He just have to relax and skate his best. Same with Jeremy. On SA his LP was a catastrophe. I wish them good luck. I'm soo sorry for Florent and especially for Tomas. By the way, does anyone know why Yuzuru or Daisuke do not compete on TEB and why both of them compete on NHK? They are WCH medalists? Shouldn't they compete on different GP? | |

| Anyone watching the pairs?
Congrats to K/S so happy they won. Just about 1 point separated 1st and 2nd. It was a good thing K/S had a good lead going into the FS because D/R won the FS.
I am thrilled for Stefania and Ondrej the Italian couple for winning the Bronze. Too bad for Peng/Zhang to many mistakes to medal. They have improved a lot given that this is their first season together. Fourth place was a good showing for them. I am sure they will be much stronger next season.
I enjoyed Vanessa and Morgan's (French couple) skate. They came in 6th.
Congrats to the podium finishers!

| Chris, Thank you for the link. I just made it for the last half of Men's FS. Wow. A surprise gold for Mura kun. Congratulations!!! I can tell that he's so committed. The program was very interesting but only... I hope he'll change that costume. At lease take off that vest please because with the Japanese theme music the first thing that top with stripes reminded me was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbXQnx3-yVQ Sorry, but seriously. Takahito Mura's FS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OzY9TL3NTQ&feature=plcpI'd like to see Jeremy's program grow along the season. He could win so I got a little disappointed but I'm glad he did much better than SA! Daisuke, so both of your High School Junior alumni skaters got GPS Gold! Go Daisuke!!

Sorry, but seriously. I'm so happy for Takahito! I've always had a soft spot for him. I didn't see Florent, but I'm glad he had a nice comeback, I feel bad for not wishing him too well in this competition. (There must have been many evil eyes on him during his SP to bomb so badly We are bad people!) - sanseki wrote:

It looks like French and Japanese federations have switched their skaters. One of French, Florent or Brian, should have been at NHK, so probably they made the deal to have their countrymen to skate at home. Now, off to watch the girls. Thanks again, Chris!

| Great result for Mr Mura. Congratulations! Jeremy's skating is magical as always, IMO. Tasteful, sophisticated, rare, breathtaking beautiful. If only he landed his planned content more often. Congratulations to Ms Wagner and the Russian baby ballerina's -- Liza and Yulya! Way to go, girls! | |

| Congratulations to Mura, well done! I knew that Florent would come back strong in th FS. He actually won the FS but he was behind to many points for the Gold. Jeremy, Jeremy what can I say but Congrats on the Silver. I always love his programs and his skating, but the TES has become his Nemesis.
The Ladies did not disappoint, Ashley was definitely the alpha female today and deserved the Gold. I just love Liza's FS and was so glad she did well.
The Ice dance competition was very good. I thought all of the teams skated really well. I almost choked on my tea when Luca fell during the twizzle sequence, but the rest of Anna and Luca's Carmen was delightful. But Natalie and Fabian for me were the best. I just love their FD. I have to look at the protocols to see why they got the deduction.

Well, usually World Championship medalists compete in different GP Series. That's why it's strange to see Daisuke and Yuzuru both on NHK
