Trophée Eric Bompard

OK, so Brian just withdrew from this weekend's Grand Prix event. This means that he won't be at the Grand Prix Final, and that he and Daisuke thus won't face each other until Worlds... It will be interesting to see who wins in Paris (Verner? Van der Perren? Chan?) and who qualifies for Torino!

I'm so sad for Joubert... I wanted to see him in Torino...
Now I'm waiting for Verner this weekend... also because Daisuke will meet him in NHK Trophy...

I hope Brian gets well soon. It won't be the same without him but still, it'll be interesting to see if Tomas Verner or Kevin van der Perren or even Patrick Chan win.

Hi everyone. Very sad news..... Poor poor Brian It seems he is seriously ill. I pray for the speedy recovery of him and want see him with his full strength again soon.

Regarding Trophee Eric Bonpard, I have no idea who will win. Without Brian some skaters have a chance to win. It would be good for Van der Perren to win the first gold medal of GPS in his long skating career..........
Personally I'm interested in Verner's performance very much.

あれだけ無駄な物を削ぎ落とした体は、こういう病気に弱いのかもしれませんね。。。。

Alright Alban and Patrick! I didn't expect Alban to win the short but good for him. I hope he does well in the long. A win at home would be nice for him. As for Tomas, I think he might have fallen as well as popped a jump. I hope he can pull up in the long.

Congrats to Patrick for winning! There's a good chance he'll make the final. Also congrats to Meryl and Charlie for winning bronze! Many people felt they were robbed of a medal at Skate America so it's nice to see them medal here.

She's always very strict for herself. I think that her style looks like Daisuke's. They need a satisfaction with their performances each competitions and there are no explanations to us all the time. I like their style a lot.
