He chose this music right after listening to it. He was asked to listen to some other choices, but he refused. He saw Rolly's works on other skaters before and thought they are really cool.
This program only has a few moments of Daisuke like choreograph, and other parts are not Daisule-like at all. He is looking forward to see how well he will skate and also how audience will react to it.

Well, not daisuke like program??? What does this mean? I can only imagine that it is not like " eye" or " Mambo" which Dai had a lot of lot of into-your -face attitude. Probably more " Honwaka" and peaceful??? What do you guys think?

But I am so sure it will be wonderful,because Dai loves it. It will show in his performance without doubt.

I, too, wonder what Dai means by saying about not Daisuke-like choreo; maybe this program has no "hot/sexy" parts or too dramatic facial expres​sion(like Pagliacci)  

Anyway, whatever Medley is, I am sure that Daisuke will create a breathless, mesmerizing performance    because he loves this honwaka program and wants to express all his love for this wonderful sport.

I'm looking forward to checking my condition in competition. I'm not perfectly ready but I want to do as much as I can right now. I'm trying to improve both jump and program by adjusting them gradually as there will be a lot of competitons to come. Though I have some anxiety for this last season, I still can't see it as something special. Probably I'm just trying to think in that way. I'm calmer than usual. It could be that I become self-protective against those anxiety. (laugh) Anway, I want to do what I can do right now without thinking too much.
 
(What is the highlight of the program?) You will see when you see it.(laugh) You would have different impression on each part of the program. I think I'm in good shape in today's practice. But I wans't up until yesterday. Actually I had a cold. I lost some weight as well.
 
(Regarding quad jump) I'm intending to gear it up after the season starts. Adding to 4Lz (which I started) from last year, I started practicing 4F. I'm not sure if I will do a quad tomorrow. I would do if possible.
 
I remember I felt more pressed four years ago as I just came out of rehab. Not to say that I don't have any anxiety, or feel pressed, but I have to go on.

I saw NHK Kansai news video in evening.
Daisuke was moving very well and landed light and easy 4T(yes fully rotated).

So i don't understand his comments in sportnavi's.
I guess the report misunderstood Daiuke's comments.

Maybe twit from asahi_sports would be help understand his saying.

He missed 3 big tricks but PCS was huge..over 87? 
Maybe he would be disappointed by his performance but to be honest I am little bit reliefed now(sorry Daisuke).
Whenever he did great at JO, the season was not so good.
At JO 2012, he was first but that season didn't go well..at 2011, he was last but the season was great.  
This season will be great to him and his fans.
I can wait until JN.

but that's true.  he has known as notorious slow starter.
According to 6min. practice report, he landed 8 of 10 jumps and landed quads several times.
now he just needs stamina and take jumping timing in program.  
we has to wait at least NHK Trophy.
His PCS gonna be around 92 when he lands big jumps.
