| OMG... I am speachless, that was beautiful!!! I'm not so sure about the program but he was amazing, looking like he was coming from another planet compared to all the others out there.
WOW... that's all I can say right now!

| OMG Dai! That was breathtaking! I need to see it in a better quality! But what an amazing program! I don't like this kind of music, but I can see why it works in fs. The jumps are placed wonderfully with the highlights of the music, and not a second wasted.

| Twind, thank you SO much for going through all that trouble for us and uploading the video on YT Daisuke's got lots of guts to go for that kind of content this early in the season I mean 2 quads, 2 3A's, plus all other triples. He can be very proud of himself. Well done! And as for the comparisons, last year he scored in the same competition: 53.15+78.64=130.79 This year it's 172.06. | |

| Twind, thank you ever soooo much!!! I din't know what to expect really but it is absolutely great!! The music is not my cup of tea and I have to get used to it (I think, I cannot really imagine this music for Dai-chan; the last performances were just sooo different from this one) but what Dai-chan is showing to this music is just incredible!! And this already now, right at the beginning! Just imagine what is still in there for him!! I'm really very surprised, to say the least ... I need to watch it over and over again .... Very well done, Dai-chan!!! :-))))) Cheers Gudrun. | |

| Wide music and "wide" program. Area of the screen is actually too small for this program, I need to see it on arena!!! Thank you. GO, Daisuke! | |

| Twind, you are a god. When I was just panicking , unable to find a video, you came to my big rescue I was just speechless and wished desperately that commentator would do the same thing. Please guys, can you just shut up for us to enjoy this out of the world art fully? As Morozof said, Dai has grown so much, his core is much stronger, his upper body straighter his skating smoother and his Jumping bigger. I became a little scared to imagine how far he will go. I felt that I was witnessing unbelievable process that this beautiful sports, figure skating is being reshaped into the highest level that I have ever seen. How can I thank you, Dai | |

| fosse, thank you sooo very much for this longer version :-)))
Doesn't Dai-chan look so healthy and beautiful in the interview? I am really surprised after all this stress without any longer breaks like holidays ... but his face is just so lovely! I think he is really enjoying what he is doing and that is why he looks so great and comfortable ... he has really grown again ...
Everything looks already sooo good, I love the deepness of the blades in the step sequence - just gorgeous :-))) And then the jumps sometimes out of nowhere ... he looks sooo secure on the ice, it's amazing! I am soooo happy for him :-)))

| Hey guys! I've been MIA for awhile... work, life... you know how it is.. Looks like I came back just in time for the beginning of the season! Twind THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting Dai's program on YT. I can definitely tell he's been working with Morosov again. His skating in this program reminds me a lot of Romeo and Juliet - great speed, good quads... I just hope he doesn't peak too soon! I am a little disappointed with the program because I almost feel like as if Daisuke gave in to a more traditional program in order to get points to win. I'm sure he'll be fantastic but the program isn't as creative as the last few seasons... just a thought! And seeing Patrick Chan's results... GO DAISUKE!!! | |

| Welcome back TwisterSister - long time no see :-))))
I read your message and thought "Yes, that's it". Dai-chan is fantastic but with this programme he is playing safe! It's tactics and I think if we had to make a decision we would probably do the same ... There is this big goal Sotchi ... *sighs a little
Anyway, it is still Dai-chan and he seems content with it :-)) I think we were very spoilt with, for example, Blues for Klook. I just adored Dai-chan even more (if that is possible *lol) for skating this programme :-))))
Cheers Gudrun.

I had the same thought. It looks so similar to R&J. - TwisterSister wrote:

I agree with you. It's tactics and I won't be surprised if he will do a similar tradition program next season. Right now he has many strong rivals: Chan, Yuzuru (his TES in Finlandia Trophy is 90, he is a great talent), Takahiko and next year Plushenko. He skated so many different and creative programs, but right now his goal is Sochi. Good luck Daisuke!

| Hi guys. Dai was charming! So relaxed, confident and just look shining and happy. I think his collaboration with Morozov is working. You already know how he did and got scored. At first during the warm-up I was staring at his costume because live in the arena it looked kind of ... erotic, underlining his perfect torso, neither skinny nor overloaded with muscles. Only later after sobering up I started noticing the triviality of the design. But the wine red color choice was good. Dai was so fast, with long streching lines, super light jumps as if with no efforts at all and terrific spins. The music itself is a cliche, like Tosca or Turandot. Also, I am not sure that Bourne is that good at creating dramatic progs. And, which is the most important thing, we all got spoiled by Daisquale masterpieces. Anyway, he won ! In CoI he skated tango in a new costume with red details. The feeling was a little different. In black with longer hair performance his tango was just hot. This one when hair is short adding bright red was required. It's more like a classic Argentinian tango, with all elements done super clean: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LsivBWXIC0Here I downloaded some pics of Dai and team japan from World Figure Skating Season Guide that they were selling in the arena: http://twitpic.com/e/2j7h I also bought the new Samurai DVD of him but I haven't even open it yet. Will enjoy later when my thoughts calm down after MWO&JO&CoI weekend. | |
