I came back from the comp about an hour ago and so impressed that so mashy videos were already up

Great information technology, yeah

I am very happy that three of Japanese guys did very well, especially Kozu, because he has had really rough practice.

But, I just can not get the score I was watching them from the 3rd row on judges side, and it is very very clear to me that Kozu's ss is far better than Yuzuru's. I am not sure about other elements of the component score, but it is hard to swallow that Yuzu's component score is already as good as Dai's No way.

Does Orther have so much influence on the score? Remember Fernandez's component score last year? The way Yuna won over perfect Mao in 2010 world's. I just can not help thinking about politics over and over.

Do not misunderstand me, I like yuzu too, but he got 5 points more than Kozu in Component Score. I just can not get it

Hi Genki. I just watched Kozu SP and it was fabulous. I agree Kozu PC's should have been higher. Hanyu's TES was better than Kozu but IMO not his PC's.

I find that when a skater executes difficult and beautifull jumps with positive GOE
(as Hanyu did) the judges tend to increase their component scores as well.

Machida was very good too. A very good night for the Japanese men, they should be proud of themselves.

I also liked Jeremy's program as well.

I agree with that. In recent FT, Yuzuru's sp TES was only 37.97, and his PCS was 38.60.

Jeremy's sp's absolutely great, IMO, but 77.71 is not (I'm not saying he's underscored).

That would definitely help him.

But even with a landed quad he wouldn't have scored 95 in his sp. There's other things that need to be taken care of, IMO. His TES needs a boost. I don't know how motivated Jeremy is to make that happen.
