Hsuhs, how do you watch icenetwork from Europe? I thought it was geoblocked for us Europeans. ostile, they unblocked it for just one day, so that people from around the world could watch it, that day is over now.
Gudrun, I'm looking for a working link for FD but there seems to be none out there.
They'll show ladies FS live on Eurosport after that. Ok thanks, I didn't know. I've been watching on Raisport, but the commentators are talking a lot, even more than usual, and if you can understand what they're saying they're even more annoying. I do get Jeremy is frustrated, but what's the use of getting it out on some other athlete for his own failures? It seems like it's always something with him: maybe he should stop finding excuses and just work harder to overcome his issues, like others do.

You are right, I shouldn't complain... but some of the things they say are really imbarassing.

| Hi guys: Just came back from the Gala It was very interesting that they introduced all gold medalists, while they stood at the various entrance of the arena waving their hands. We felt that we were so close to them, because they were in the audience. I was very happy to be able to see Tatsuki's ex live, which I could not stop repeating for a while. Crowd loved it too. I also loved Kozuka's " Sound of silence" It shows off so much of far fantastic basic skating skills that crowd got silent rather than making noised. They seemed to be completely in rapture, looking at this gorgeous skating right in front of their eyes. I really wish that his SS shows much better on TV too. TV often does not do justice to Kozuka's skating. Yuzuru did a fun routine, first taking off his Jaket, and then s shirt I thought that he was stripping Then at the end he threw his shirt to the audience and forgot to retrieve his Jacket on ice. When he finally reappeared onto the ice and got the jacket and at the end he slided with his knees with his upper body bent backward receiving huge applause from the crowd. Anyway those things you can watch on TV. So I would like to talk about something which will never be on TV. When I parked my car way back in the parking lot next to nice loan, I saw Kozu, Yuzu and Tatuki were being interviewed by Japanese media right there. There were only a few people around so we were lucky enough to get pictures, autographs and shake hands with our favorite skaters. I helped some American fans to talk to Kozu, so he was really appreciative of that. I also saw Verner and Brajina, having a nice snack at near by Sandwich shop. When I was walking besides the arena, I ran into Tachiana/Maximn. They were walking hand in hand and they graciously thanked me when I congratulated on their win. I really loved how Skate America was set up so that the audience can enjoy even their breaks. Examples are: You can get your picture taken wearing US figure skating uniform, gold medal and flowers. You will get a card from Hilton hotel, which you use to open the secret door to get a prize. Skaters sit for a long time to give autographs to audience one by one, even champion Ashely. Host was always in the crowd talking to them. It is such a far cry from my Japanese Ice Show experience in which audience is treated like a herd of cows or something to be guided sometimes rudely where to go. I know skaters are super stars in Japan, but I really hope that something will be done that fans feel more close to them. Without their support, this sports can not exist. Sorry, it is getting too long, I should stop here. Now I feel a little sad, because the comp is over, but at the same time I feel that I am really lucky to be able to enjoy this fantastic sports . Talk to you soon. | |

He didn't. I mean he "forgot" to retrieve his jacket in all ice shows in Japan that I visited, like DOI and PIW. And every time he "forogt" it, came back, got extra applauses from the crowd, naturally, because people surely assumed that he indeed "forgot" it, expect those who visited a bunch of shows like myself and saw the same trick again and again. Not a cool way to get extra attention from the audience I think.

| Genki what a wonderful report! Thank you so much. How nice that you got to meet the Japanese men up close. I hope you post the photos you took at SA. You also talked and congratulated Tatiana/Max, they seem like lovely people. I am glad that you had such a great time at SA. | |

| Thank you guys for thanking me I am still in the after glow from this wonderful comp and can not concentrate on my work Wow, let's talk, so Yuzuru tricked us?? Many people told me that Yuzu is very calculating. But I did not want to believe it. He is only 17 years old and he is such a wonderful talent as many people acknowledge. I hope his agency or something told to do this trick, not him. : | |

| Hi! I really like the Japanese ice skater Yuzuru Hanyu, and last year I kept switching sport channels to see him in a competition. ( I know I can find videos but I'd like to see him in a contest, at least on tv) I would like to know if there are any sites where I can find where he will be performing. I tried searching for competitions but I can't find lists with skaters from them... If you know what I could do to find this kind of information, please leave an answer! | |

Hi maurice AFAIK, Mr Hanyu doesn't have an official site, I see why it can be challenging to find info on his participation in competitions and shows. Mr Hanyu's next two competitions this season are the same as Mr Takahashi's: Four Continents 6 - 11 Feb in Osaka, Japan and Worlds 10 - 17 Mar in London, Canada. He may participate in winter shows, too, but I don't follow his show schedule. I can only refer you to Mr Hanyu's fan community at http://yuzuru-hanyu.livejournal.com/It's in Russian, for the most part (but not all). Hopefully, the community members can help you with further information on Mr Hanyu's whereabouts
