I work night shifts Thur and Fri, so having to wake up at 7 AM is like having to wake up in the middle of the night. We'll be suffering together, Shyla!

Here's a very nice lengthy documentary about Yuzuru Hanyu (his life and skating in Toronto, how he works on his choreo and skating skills, his ups and downs etc etc). They interviewed Brian Orser a lot, too.

Mr Orser seems to be such a nice, down to earth guy (but I knew that already. Hubby spoke to him once at Nebelhorn Trophy, was very impressed).

Thanks hsuhs. I enjoyed both videos of Javier and Hanyu. I agree that Brian seems like a really nice person and his students look up to him not only as a coach but also I think a father figure.

(How about your condition? ) Not bad.

(How is the venue?) Yesterday it was a bit cold but today is fine.

(Did you remedy anything after CoC?) I changed a few choreo and also there are changes back to the previous choreo. Other than those, the same as usual.

(How about your quad?) Though I landed it today, it was far from my ideal. But in CoC I couldn’t land it at all in the competition, in NHK I landed both today and yesterday.

(You won NHK Trophy 4 times so far. You always do great here.) I think this time it will become a tough competition. I hope I can win again as a result of my performaces.

(What would you like to check in NHK Trophy?) I rather want to show off what I’ve practiced so far without any mistakes than check something.

(Young guns are chasing you intensely.) I got used to it now in the middle of the seaon. I’d like to go without paying attention to them.

(As for GPF?) I have to keep my concentration until the last second of the competition but I’d like to win a ticket and go to GPF.

In his interview he talks abut changing his choreography back to the previous choreography. He does not say if it is his SP or LP.
