But in his SP he went into his step sequence after the spin right away. It's true. I LOVE this moment! I think it’s a measure of great skill.

His performance was so great even though he had some mistakes!!
I'm very impressed his all steps and love this free program more than before. I felt his passion in his program. And his hair style and costume also looked great.
Just one thing he needs is a stamina.

Really? It's very funny. I wish I could be there!! OMG! Five years ago, the orders were Nobunari, Evan and Daisuke. It's like a triangle. I cannot find any video, but I found a pic.

Today Dai was tired of course. But In Amelie /in CoI / I admire human nature, his body movements looks so natural & easy.
Still I miss fragility & softness of DoI`s Amelie. It`s so mesmerizing.
So what do you think about that, which version of Amelie do you like more?

Not to mention that he looks so beautifull in dark stretch in DoI.
I like his new costume too - open neck, esp. behind. It`s crime to hide that beauty.

Too many people began to shout that Daisuke was like a Lambel in "Amelie". So the result is: Daisuke began to perform Amelie in its own way. I don't not know if it's good or bad. But the first version of Amelie was closer to the original idea. And it was wonderful. Except fragility & softness, I miss the first (Lambiel's) Sp version very much.

P.S. I would like the CcoSp in FS remains in the version that aired on Japan Open - with the final acceleration

I am so in love with this program that my heart starts to beat faster, gets goose bumps at the slow part and almost shed tears at the end!! I thought that I am crazy, but I am not the only one!! Yeah!

I may faint if he skates this program perfectly at Skate America in front of me!!
I noticed that he is changing his arms a bit and the program itself is becoming better and better. Such an attention to detail.

Can not wait to go to Portland soon!!

Hey everyone! I've only been lurking around here lately because I've been really busy, but I'm delighted that Daisuke won! In a way, I'm glad that he had those two mistakes in the LP, because if he had skated the program cleanly this early in the season I would be worried about whether he can keep up the momentum later on. I really like his program thouogh, and I can't wait to see it live at Skate America!

Congratulations Dai at NHK

Piazzolla LP is more of my taste both music and choreography wise compared to last season’s La Strada. Rather quiet passion and mental maturity draw you in. Looking forward to seeing this program become polished. With it Dai would take us to the journey of Argentine tango.

As for his Mombo SP, I suppose it’s all depending on whether Dai can condition his body well and raise the energy level on the day of the competition. When he does, there is gonna be fire to melt the ice
