And as yerina mentioned in another post earlier, we really do appreciate you very much for the many translations and articles that you post here for all of us to enjoy and to learn more about Daisuke! Before you created this website/forum, there were not many English language forums about Daisuke out there and it was quite disappointing and frustrating for many of us non-Japanese fans, but your site is really a god send to all of us!

Couldn't have said that better myself. It's nice to finally find other Daisuke fans from all over the world to talk to. I really appreciate all of the reports from everyone. Reading all of them makes me want to see Daisuke live even more.

Daisuke said he has jumped quad once clean first time last year at this competiton, but this time he would like to do quads twice completely and keep 1st place.

I can't suppress the excitement for NHK trophy!

Only 3 more days to go! I'm planning to watch Daisuke's short live on webTV, even though it's going to be really early in the morning for me. I want to see it!

And I also saw a TV news featuring Dai-chan's Hip-Hop Swan Lake recently. I'd like to introduce some of his comments. (I'm sorry these are very rough translation. )

"I love seeing hip hop and wanted to take hip hop lessons for myself. I have a strong yearning for it. It would be good if I can show different Daisuke Takahashi in each music."
"(Hip hop has) very fast beats but on the other hand there are some steps which take a certain time to do. That was a very very difficult part. I think only practices can make me possible to do accurate steps. What I have to do is just practice."
"I want to get excited with the audience by performing as Skate America or more."

Yeah I can see how difficult hip hop on ice. Especially for Dai-chan. Think it is always very important for him to capture perfectly the music he skates to.

GO DAI-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN

I've just seen TV news from Sendai.
Shizuka Arakawa who was in the news commented about Dai-chan that during today's practice almost there is no failure in jumps and he constantly succeeded in landing quads. Shizuka was also asked about why he got level 1 at Skate America. She answered he couldn't practiced enough at that time so it seemed there was the lack of accuracy in his slst but now his slst is perfect.
(I didn't record this news so I wrote what I remembered. I'm not sure this is totally correct..... )

Wow miyu, Daisuke looks to be in such great shape in those last three pictures that you posted! Awesome! Many thanks for all the latest translations (they were done very well!) and pictures about NHK Trophy that you provided us with as well! I especially loved the pictures and Shizuka's comments about Daisuke (him landing many quads in practice- wow!).

And thank you yerina for the most updated results! I will be watching some of those videos on youtube.com soon I'm sure.

Thanks for the news and photos, miyu. The practice photos are so funny...his hair is crazy! Unfortunately, I'm relying on ESPN for coverage so I have to wait until next week to see performances. I'm looking forward to reading Leode's reports as well. I hope you have fun!

Hey swandie. Yeah, ESPN's coverage of figure skating events sucks big time! What's the point of a one week tape delay anyways? Our actual coverage has even been cut so much (down to 3 or so hours now for a complete event). Urghhhh. Thank god for Youtube though.
