| According to Stéphane's official site, his new short program is a piano interpretation of “Summertime” by Geroge Gershwin and Free Skating program is the tango "Otoño Porteño" by Astor Piazzolla, interpreted by the ensemble Nuevo Tango. Wow!! Tango is very popular program this season. I can't wait to see them! But I never seen it like Daisuke's program "eye" before. | |

| Another tango? No offense but I'll be so sick of tango by the end of this year I'm beginning to wonder if I'll be able to enjoy everybodys programs. My friend will be having a very bad season, since she hates tango. Ah well.... | |

| Hi, alekzu! Yeah, another tango. But we never see his program at this point. I hope that Stéphane will express the tango with different approches. Oh, sorry to your friend.... By the way, how do you feel about Daisuke's short program "eye"? | |

| Yes, looks like we are entering a 'tango season' Correct me if I'm wrong, Stephane's fs this upcoming season will be to the same music Sergey Voronov used last season for his free? I like Sergey, he's a nice kid and he's been working really hard, he's the best Russia's got at the moment in mens.... but that music got on my nerves after the first 10 seconds Stephane is, of course, a more experienced skater, many skating fans find him a true artist, so probably he'll be better in interpreting that piece. And if he isn't, I'll turn the sound off | |

| Thank you, Leode! Good choices for Stephane! I love tango! This is one of my favourite music for skating! I love Tango de Roxanne, eye... and now I hope Stephane can do a great interpretation of his new FP as he did last season with his flamenco! Here you can listen the music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnMwEMm7cv8 - hsush wrote:

I think Voronov is a very elegant skater, but the problem last season was that he didn't skate like he was dancing a tango... if you watch the video and you turn off the sound, you can think he's skating on another kind of music... classical for example... this is only my opinion...

Yes, that too. He tried to. There were some characteristic tango-like moves in his program, but it just wasn't enough. Here's a link to Voronov's performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ysyq2IVgj60Frankly, I have ambivalent feelings towards tango on ice, performed by single skaters.

| Thanks Leode! The singles skaters must have an tango OD this season. Pang and Tong are also doing a tango long program but I think they're the only pair team so far...they're hoping the judges will notice them again. In reference to Stephane, I think he'll do a great job with whatever music he has. He hasn't failed me yet! Daisuke's "eye" is a little different from any tango I've ever heard. The heavy drums are unique in my opinion. | |

| Thank you for the information, Leode! I'm eager to see both of Stephane's new programs, especially "Summertime". It will be gorgeous. BTW, were the new programs choreographed by Mrs.Petrenko?? - glorydave wrote:

Good obsevation!! Voronov's performance at World was really cool but you are very right. - swandie wrote:

| Thank you everybody, for the informations! Actually, I had longed to see Stephane this season skating to NON-Lain music...I was fully enjoyed and satisfied with his beautiful flamenco Latin style for 2 seasons. Personally, I prefer more original and creative as "Four Seasons" and "Dralion" in Olympic Season. Otherwise, "Summertime" sounds like a new challenge for him and arouses my interest Just can't wait to see this SP | |
