| I love that photo of Dai, so handsome! I am sure that you know that Kanako has retired. They had a nice sendoff for her at WTT. She also will be in the cast of Hyoen along with Dai, Akiko, Oda and Shiz! It will be a mini Team Japan reunion! This will be quite a show for sure. | |

Yes, I know about Kana's retirement  I'm a bit sad, as she is the last one of the iconic group of "old skaters" to retire. https://twitter.com/nobutaro1001/status/721301855817453568I will miss her elegance on the ice. So glad she has been asked to take part in this show! A great opportunity for her to be part of such great event. Also Akio Sasaki will skate in HOYEN 2017 - Basara. | OMG Pattina have you watched. In Part 1 at about 13.56 Dai is is sitting by himself in a lovely looking room and Louis Armstrong song "What a Wonderful Life" is playing and Dai looks at the camera and says in perfect English "this is my favorite song" and then he proceeds to sing a little.
Adorable!
Great video and added bonus that it shows Dai back on the ice. | |

Adorable! that moment when Dai - out of the blue - speaks in English "my favorite song" and then sings a bit  all the video is great, with costume reharsal and all. Dai again on the ice during practice is breathtaking. The duet with Akiko....  Try to imagine when they will skate with those gorgeous costumes!!! And ostile reminds us that indeed Dai skated to "What a Wonderful World" in the rock version by Ramone as his EX for the 2003/2004 season.
