| Hi ilica and fosse. Just checking in. I am at work but on my lunch break so I am watching some of the ladies. I missed Yuna's skate. 69 is a great score for her being away for 2 seasons. | |

As figure skating fan, One of most amazing things to me is Daisuke went Olympic with Utako coach and won a medal. That was miracle. - Quote :

| Gracie Gold missed her combo jump, still she got a good score. She usually is a LP skater. At her Nationals she skated like a jump clinic she hit everything. I like her but she is only 17 and she needs to develop artistically but she is talented for sure. | |

| Poor Elena terrible score. She looks so frail. I thing she lost some weight.
I am going to watch Dai's video in HD then it is back to work for me.
I will have to find out the results of the Ladies when I get home. Enjoy! | |

| This video includes a short interview of Dai-chan just after SP. https://youtu.be/_-js6EUMEZ43:03 I felt ashamed not to be able to land a quad. It's not "ashamed", I was irritated why I couldn't make it even though I practiced that much. But after I focused on how I express, then I felt clear. I'm OK as the skating itself was good. I'll have a good rest today and do my best tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Ganbare Dai-chan!! Ganbare Mao! | |

| Hi there :-)
Wasn't that an interesting event? :-))
I am so happy for Kanako. miyu, you are absolutely right, she is sooo cute! I love her smile and laugh :-)))
Interesting that Yuna Kim did so well straight away .... however, I believe that if Carolina had had a flawless skate, she would have been first now :-) I am sure she knows that ...
Very interesting to see and fun to watch was Ms Osmond :-))) What a surprise!!!
I am sorry for Akikosan and Maochan ... and for the Georgian lady ... what happened to her? I have never seen her skate that way for a long time ... she must be so disappointed ...
All a lovely night :-)
Gudrun.

| Hi Guys:
I am at the practice rink right now watching Dai zooming right by me. Man, he is beautiful. He does not need any costume. Right now, Dennis is skating to the music. Dai is practicing around the rink. Oh, beautiful 3 t from Dai.
Gorgeous 3-3. So light in the air. Now Kevin's turn to skate to the music and then Dai will come after that. Yes, wonderful 3a 2t from Dai.
Wow, Kevin made such a progress in expression. I am impressed. Yeh, Dai's turn. No attempt on 4t next ripple double footed. Great 3a. Step sequence 3A 2t 2t.one more triple. 3zl,3t combo. some more triple, last jump and the ending spin. Sorry about the messy sentence.
I am loosing half of my mind with Dai skating 2 feet away.
Talk to you soon. | |

| Hi Fosse. Meryl and Charlie were incredible. They have set a new World Record in SD which beats the old World Record set by them by at least 1 point. | |

| Hi! Thank you everyone, for all the infos! And thank you Genki, for the great report. It must be challenging to watch him so close and to report at the same time. I had a long day at work now I have to catch up with Ice Dance. I can't wait to see Meryl & Charlie! Happy for them. There are many news articles that are short and simple but I just want to share this one. Sorry that it's a day old. *************** http://www.tokyo-np.co.jp/article/sports/news/CK2013031402000231.html The condition of his quads was not rising even when he got in London. The game time almost came he was losing all his spirits. “Something fell down in me.” It was when he got in the arena that he recovered his will to fight. “I wanted to treasure this moment to skate so that the fans who came to cheer me and those who support me would feel happy about it.” Bringing the same condition he had in practice right to the first quad, it went underrotated, two-footed. Even this completely failed jump could not find any way to pull down his heart that got over its distress. “Not to fix it up, but to make my performance something people would say 'it was great to watch'” he skated, after that first jump, along with the tone of the piano of “Moonlight Sonata” and showed himself assimilated with the delicate early part and the raging climax. The program has replaced right after the Nationals at the end of the last year. To make it seep into his body he had a camp in Connecticut, US until right before the competition. His coach Ms. Nagamitsu says, “he doubled his normal practice time. I was amazed that one can practice this much.” There was not enough time to fine-tune his jumps, but on the other hand he could shape his body up to “the best in this season”. His movements sharpened, he draws in the audience the way only he could. “To me, the quality of perfection was pretty good.” The performance was satisfying to him more than what the score would tell. Added Hanyu’s placement, the second best of his teammates to his own, Japan got the number ‘13’ bellow the highest limit line to get 3 spots for Sochi. Facing to the free skating, Japan’s ace who has lead his team for quite some time said, determined; “I’ve got no other way but to rise. I shake myself up." *********** D1sk D1sk | |

| Hello there! Rascals are here, ready for Dai's practice in 45 minutes! Go Dai!!! As Genki said already, Daisuke really looked great yesterday. He looked so confident compared to the previous days... as if her was relieved that the short had passed and he was happy with the result. It is obvious that he feels confident in his free program, so let's keep our fingers crossed. Oh yes, and he also oozed sexiness Yuzu and Mura on the ice now! Don't forget, it's Dai's Birthday tomorrow!!! | |
