| Hi Miyu:
Yeap, I can not wait to see Dai ballroom dance on Ice!!
Thank you for music suggestion too. It is kind of fun doing this guessing game.
Calliope, yes, my dream is coming true. Dai will dance ballroom. I really want to see it on the floor though, not on ice,

| As for me, it's too slow music for the whole program. | |

| Here's an article that talks about the quad: http://mainichi.jp/enta/sports/general/news/20100822spn00m050015000c.htmlIt says that he might do a quad in the SP as well as the LP (in which he wants to do a 4F). Right now the SP has a 3F-3T at the beginning, but that might be changed to a 4T-3T later in the season if the quad's consistency improves. Utako says that since it's not an Olympic season, it's easy to give it a try. The article also says that if he does a quad in the SP it'll be his first time doing so in his career, but that's not true... He used to do it in the 04-05 season and earlier! It was a long time ago, but apparently no one remembers. | |

I hope his quad will become that good! - Calliope wrote:

People are also saying the music is mixture of "Invierno Porteño" and "Primavera Porteño". Probably you will be satisfied with the idea. Primavera Porteño https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScS31gT_6y4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHHdKl3SF7E

| Thank you for the information and videos, everyone! I'm surprised that Dai has apparently decided to dump the SP choreographed by Stephane. I was looking forwards to seeing it in competition. I can't wait to see how he will interpret a classical tango though, very excited about that! | |

Primavera Porteño https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScS31gT_6y4 Yes, this one is absolutely approaches Dai-chan. And this arrangement – adorable. And what a tremendous violin - composition nerve!!! In general, Pasquale knows what is necessary for Daisuke, I guess. Thanks, miyu!!! And thanks people!!!

Hi Leode. How have you been? Are you busy these days? Take care! BTW, where is hsuhs? I miss her... Here is Takahiko's new SP. (PIW Okazaki 14-15 Aug.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YA7ZGuGx6xkHmmmm. At least he had to skate it more joyfully.

| Thank you guys, for all the vids & infor there! The music sounds really cool! Dai's footwork sequence and expressiveness are superb as always. Just can't wait to see the whole body of the new programs. However, what disppointed me is...those music doesn't really seem to extend Dai's range of styles. As for the LP, another tango? How many tangos has he got? Moulin Rouge, Eye... Although Piazzolla's Four seasons (especially the winter part) do sound "yin" somehow as Dai said, why does he choose the third piece which belongs to the same genre? As for the SP, regardless of its overlap with the LP( both are latin style...), hot as always, we could at most view it as an escalation of "eye". While I was expecting him to explore something totally different, he just ended up trying similar things... I wish he could skate to some soft music, some classical works... Anyway, I think I should keep silent before seeing the whole body of those programs. | |

Well, I can understand what you are feeling. And I won't say something like "you don't need to worry, the SP is totally different from "eye". Because how you feel varies from person to person. What I can tell you now is his mambo SP was a 100% or even 200% "yang" program that he's never skated before. And you will be excited without doubt when you see it. It was such a fun and entaertaining program. (You can hear peple were screaming in the video which ireni posted in another thread! lol! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IJQIwVnn9s @4:13) To help you to imagine the SP, probably I can say it's like Ryan Bradley's program, and more and more complex. (I think Dai-chan mambo SP is super extremely difficult. ) IIRC, the program stared with this ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rumcwDjKFl4 ) and he used this music ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLfvO9xu8fs from 2:51) for his step sequence. I'm just guessing though, Dai-chan asked Shae-Lynn for jazz at the beginning (probably because he already decided to use Tango in FP.) as he said in an article. He acutally tried something new. But they consequently chose this Latin mix music. I guess it's because he liked it very much or it fitted him better. - dilemma wrote:

| Thank you, miyu! The music of the step sequence part sounds really difficult. Besides, as for "Eye" and Estaciones Porteñas , although both of them are tangos, pop/electronic music is completely different from classical works. Maybe to some extent, we could view Piazzolla's tango as a classical piece. All right. Let's wait and see what kind of programs will be produced then. It's only three weeks ahead of Japan Open. I can't wait! PS: I really like the hairdo in my avatar! Dai-chan is soooo cool with that little pigtail! I love to see his forehead exposed Hope he would keep the hairdo for competitions! | |

| Oh no! His ponytail can look cute sometimes, but as usuall hairdo? No way! I wrote already about my fav style - season 2007-2008. I like also his style in Torino 2010 & also when he skated Amelie. I hope he will shorten his hair & never ever go with long hair or ponytail! | |
