| Thank you so much for your warm welcome, Pattina. I've been following this forum for a while and I always appreciate all your comments and kind words for the translations I have done. They gave me so much power and energy to try another article. I'd love to share the love and respect for Daisuke with you all here and post more in the future as well. | |

| Thank you, Pattina, I love Banana-suke. It is true that "yabai" means dangerous, risky and scary but more people use it as cool, amazing and terrific these days just like you use ridiculous for positive meaning. Flapper-Dai and I have been working together for the last few months and as you know she is a superb gif maker! I just help a bit for translations. FYI, Japan Self-Defense Force has a very delicate position in Japan in general since some people are strongly against the existence of military forces in Japan because of the renunciation of war article in the Constitution, therefore they choose very very carefully who to be on the Blue Impulse. Unless they regard the person is worthy to give some positive and good image of the Force to the public, they won't accept and it tells us that how well Dai was regarded. In fact, after the News ZERO aired Dai's Spot Light on TV, many people reacted positively towards the Blue Impulse as well as Dai. Some tweeted that they would apologize to all figure skaters and their fans that they thought figure skating was not a sport due to fake smiles and sissy costumes but by watching how nonchalantly and easily Dai dealt with the flight, they changed their minds saying Dai was truly a world class top athlete. I just love to see how people react to Dai these days. More he reveals himself to the public, more people become his fans. | |

| Nobu, thank you so much for all the information about Blue Impulse and the feeling of Japanese people. It's very, very interesting. To know that Dai has been accepted for a ride with Blue Impulse as "positive and good image of the Force to the public" fills me with proud for our wonderful man. It comes out clearly from video that Sonoda san has a respectful attitude towards Daisuke, but also a very positive approach. They interacts easily and have good feelings. As usual, Dai is able to find positive and good connection with any people he interviews for his SPOTLIGHT. - nobu wrote:

One more evidence that Dai-Power exists and it's amazing!!! He has been able to connect two worlds so different from one another just like he has always connected audience to music and beautiful magic of figure skating. And again he draws people towards skating!! - nobu wrote:

Thanks for this wonderful collaboration!! Please, go on and on!!! We overseas fans are eager of any little morsel we can receive about Dai's words!! THE ICE 2017 - last show in Nagoya (2 parts). Thanks a lot to kind uploader!! I really don't understand why but they did not show the whole surprise tribute to Mao by Team Japan. They show just glimpses of it, mixing the step sequence of Vancouver with the music and final pose of Sochi "Rach". http://dai.ly/x5xefrqhttp://dai.ly/x5xf9quJulian Yee Zhi-Jie is a young skater from Malasya. In this interview (recorded just after Worlds but on-line in these days) he talks about difficulties to be a skater in his Country, about his strong will to qualify for Olys 2018 and...... "There are skaters which I really admire a lot, especially this Japanese skater. His name is Daisuke Takahashi. He is a very very well known skater for his artistry. He performs really really well and that's why I really love his skating so much" http://www.thestartv.com/?post_type=episodios&p=62543?program=kl-games-2017&season=quest-for-goldGo Julian!!! Looking at your idol you can only receive positive inspiration!! (and indeed, I like Julian's skating, I feel he wants to achieve high level tecnique not leaving art aside and he is able to connect with audience). Dai-gorgeous SunDai everyone!! | |

| Hello everyone and Shyla! Thank you for your welcome. I just dug out these scenes from my old DVDs because during the latest News ZERO appearance, Dai was asked when the most memorable moment he had goose bumps in life was and promptly answered it was when his bronze medal was decided, not the moment on the podium but the moment it became certain, so here are the moments. Enjoy! When it became certain that he ended up on the podium, but not sure yet which color the medal would be ... https://twitter.com/nobumamiya/status/899309724251770880And when it was decided that he got the bronze medal...and a bit of the medal ceremony and an interview with NHK's Kariya san. https://twitter.com/nobumamiya/status/899311102328053760 | |

| nobu san, thank you so much for explanation about Dai's "goose bumps" moment at Vancouver!!! And thanks for your beautiful clips - this moment is priceless to me: at 00:19 in the second clip, when he looks back smiling (maybe at Nagamitsu sensei?) just one second before the speaker calls his name His sparkling eyes, the proud smile and at the same time always his kind and humble attitude. Thanks to Daisuke Takahashi Road to Sochi, we have more info about Dai being host of Nomura san (broadcast on BS Fuji Sunday September 03rd at 19:00 JT) https://www.facebook.com/DaisukeTakahashiRoadtoSochi/posts/1091680080969556Achillea's official website with pics - http://www.bsfuji.tv/achillea/next.html | |

| WOW Dai skated to Marnie, I have to see that video! I wonder what made him choose Marnie no matter the reason, it is a beautiful program that I love! Love the sword play between Shoma and Dai. Shoma will have to practice to keep up with Dai otherwise he will get slayed by Uncle Dai. Thanks Pattina as always for keeping us updated and also to DTRS for all of the goodies! | |

| Today Marin Honda did an open practice at Kansai Ice Rink, where she also informed media she decided to change her SP. A very classy and elegant Daisuke was there (work dress code?) and they had this nice and cool shot together. Marin posted it also on her IG stories. Is Marin trying to kill all Dai's fans???? | Awww adorable photo of Uncle Dai and Marin! Our guy is looking fabulous in his pose! I read about Marin's change of her Tango SP. Not sure why she changed it but she will skate to her SP from last year in an upcoming competition and will have a new SP in time for GP. | |
