Ahaha, I'm away from home but, against all hope, I found a way to stay connected!! That's true Dai-addiction.

Too short in comparison to what we expected/hoped to see, but OMG how smooth, quick, powerful and expressive Dai is. His gorgeous smile on rink lights my day   ..and he seems somehow younger  

And once again I can experience Dai's powerful magic: just a few glimpses of new FS and this Forum fills up with positive thoughts (and woman's intuition  ) and love for this great and amazing man.   

Ostile, really your signature is a great truth: Dai-chan is Honwaka and he invites us all to experience the mood he is in when dancing his programs for new season. He is just enjoying the simple fact of being a skater and performing what he loves. I do adore him for being so.

I would like to introduce a new blog by Michi Ishikawa(Daisuke's nutritionist.)

It is quite a interesting read. The first picture on the right and side column is the Package of rice,(Kingin) that Daisuke eats during the season.

The socond picture is the dinner that Dai had on in US at recent camp.
The seventh picture is inside of Dai's fridge. Michi cooks for him once a week and put in the containers with message like( Eat soon) Dai himself heats it up and eat it every night.

Everything is in Japanese, but if you guys have special request for translation, I will do it.

Nah.. I should leave her alone till Sochi.  

Dai certainly does not have to worry about food it is all prepared and labeled for him!
He will have to learn how to cook after after he wins his gold medal at Sochi, when he retires.
Although I am certain many friends and fans would not mind cooking for him. lol

この日は、タカハシさんの好きな「クリームシチュー」を作りました。チキンの他に、野菜がたっぷりと入った具沢山シチューです。この他に、煮物を少々。あと、納豆。
どの遠征先でも、サーモンとオレンジジュースは外れがなく美味しい食材なので、定番のように購入しています。
On this day, I cooked cream stew that Dai loves so much. This stew has a lot of vegitables in addition to chicken. Besides this stew, I served Japanese stew and Natto (fermented soy beans.)
納豆は、昨日ＮＹからいらしたゲストのお土産（何が欲しい？と聞いてくださったので、薄切り肉と納豆!とリクエストしました）。

Natto is a gift from the guest who came from NY yesterday.( I was asked what I want, so requested thinly sliced meet and Natto.)
オレンジジュースの前の黒い物体は、昨晩、薄切り肉でしゃぶしゃぶを作った時に使った昆布と干ししいたけの出しガラ？　で作った佃煮風。
チームでは、これらを「ご飯の友」と、呼んでます（笑）
The black staff in front of the orange juice is Tsukudani( stewed meat/sea food vegetable cooked in the very strong source made with soy source and sugar .)made from see weed and broth from dried mash room, which I used to make pork shabu shabu last night. Team member call it " a friend of rice." lol
外は暑くても、リンクは冷えます。また、合宿中盤から終盤に差し掛かる時は、体も気持ちも疲労感を感じてきます。ですから、クリームシチューで、体も心も、少しメンテナンス。
に、なったかな？ Even though it is hot outside, the rink is cold. Dai feels fatigued mentally as well as physically in the middle and the latter part of the training camp . So Cream stew is good for the maintenance of body and mind, I believe.

I will keep checking, but she now may be so busy to update preparing in-season meals. She is one big part of Team D1SK! Michi san, arigato.  And personally thanks for the idea for our dinner tonight. My family enjoyed your recipe of taco rice!  

Trivia: The title of her blog 'Sochi e no Michi', (Michi going for Sochi) also means "the Road to Sochi" (Remember the Japanese name of "La Strada"?  )
