| I haven't yet seen " Bachelorette". I watched the Gala for Skate America but he did Swan Lake. I'll go look for Bachelorette on youtube soon though. | |

| I voted for Bachelorette! It's so intense... and the only time I saw Daisuke, he skated this program... so, maybe, I became fond of it. So... 1- Bachelorette 2- Swan Lake 3- Romeo & Juliet (I'm waiting to see a clean performance... but however I prefer Phantom of the Opera as FP). And you Leode? What is your favorite program? | |

| I vote for Swan Lake SP. It's hands down my favorite men's program this season. I just love how he incorporates hip hop dancing into the program. - Shatterpoint wrote:

I'll go look for Bachelorette on youtube soon though. He did do Bachelorette at the Skate America Gala. You must've only seen his encore if you just saw Swan Lake. It might still be on IceNetwork.com if you want to watch. Correction: Now that I remember, his encore was just him skating around to a section of Bachelorette...he did Swan Lake at the Counter Match Gala....

I think I'll wait until later in the season to vote, at least until after NHK. I'd like to see Romeo and Juliet skated cleanly first, before I decide.

| Hi everybody! I think Daisuke’s 2007-2008 program combination is extremely successful; SP is Hip Hop, FS Traditional and EX Contemporary. All of them just prove his versatility as a performer. Plus, he also showed off his talent in that whatever styles he chooses, he can convey passion and subtle charm of beauty to hearts of audience…
Having said that, I say I voted for Bachelorette which grabbed my brain and made me hypnotized for a couple of weeks since Skate America. Look at the series of sensual movements… Best part is that he is NOT trying to be sexy, but he IS sexy. Cheers. Roko

| Thanks for the votings, DTFF members! And welcome to DTFF, Roko. Your Daisuke's pic is very nice from his commercial. I will vote the free program of "Romeo and Juliet Overture" by P. I. Tchaikovski. I know that nobody voted this, but I love the music and his performance!! | |

I think Romeo and Juliet has potential. It was good at Skate America, but I can't wait to see it skated cleanly. It WAS very impressive to me that with two falls he still was only a few points behind Lysacek in the technical score in the FS, and in the FS overall. Also he beats Evan in almost every component area. I have great hopes for Daisuke at Worlds with his new programs.

| Welcome Roko to the forum! I'm fairly new as well you could say. Have fun here! Roko, I totally agree with your quote here- - Quote :

It's really a great observation (100% correct)! I love all the programs from this year, but I will admit that I am a bit partial to Bachelorette myself. It just seems really different and is not what anyone else is doing out there in terms of moves, style, and interpretation (so cool, sleek, and intricate). It's really one of a kind I think. The SP is too actually.

As you may know, Daisuke fell just before head-rolling twizzle during Bachelorette at NHK EX today, and (sorry to say that) he ruined the routine. I thought to myself that Bachelorette must be the most difficult piece of 3 programs because it may be unrecoverable once he fell.

| Hey, Roko. Yeah, it was really unfortunate about the fall in the exhibition (poor Daisuke). The fall did affect the flow and momentum of the program a bit. However I did think that Daisuke did his best to nicely recover from the mistake and to move on. His fall on the quad in the Romeo and Juliet program in NHK did not affect the rest of the program at all, but I agree with you that a bad fall in a difficult and intricate program like Bachelorette would be more difficult to recover from. | |

| The Hip hop SW is very cool (as Daisuke himself says!) but my favourite is Bacholorette - the way he moves to the music, it's completely captivating. As one commentator noted, Dai-chan is a performer who is also an athlete, as opposed to Joubert, who is an athlete trying to be a performer. Daisuke has restored my interest in men's figure skating for the first time since the Albertville Olympics and the gorgeous silver-medal routine by Paul Wylie. | |

Joubert is maybe the strongest skaters, talking about athletic aspects... for example jumps... but his programs needs something more to touch people... perhaps he also understood this; infact in the last interview he said he wanted to improve in artistic aspect. And YES! Daisuke is a great performer! - nipponophile wrote:

I think this is a fine compliment to Daisuke.

| I voted SP because this is so fresh and cool in figure skating, but all the programs are quite good! At first time, I think R&J is somehow lack compare to SP, but now I totally think that's all my fault. The more he shows, the more I loving his program! - Quote :

That's what Eurosport commentator's note at Dai's 2007 Worlds SP (maybe Dick Button?) I really agree with that. Yeah, I think so too, glorydave. Joubert takes a serious view of quad.. He said at early this season, 'I saw Dai's SP, but he seemed any improvement.' WHEEEEEEEEEE............... I think he maybe said about Dai didn't quad at SP.. Of course, it's important to trying, but IMO his clean 3F-3T value more than quad, and we know how difficult Dai's hip-hop!

| Actually I haven't voted yet because still I can't choose one...... But now I'm tending to vote to Romeo & Juliet especially after I saw Dai-chan's slst at MOI. I could really feel what he wanted to express with this music. At the same time I realized why he said about "stamina" many times this season. He wants to step emotionally like MOI but in games the fatigue prevented him from doing it so far. Someone has already post this somewhere in DTFF but again..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dl181mfUKVY - nipponophile wrote:

I think it was Dick Button. Yay! Dai-chan is a great performer as glorydave wrote. - yerina wrote:

He said at early this season, 'I saw Dai's SP, but he seemed any improvement.' Oh really?? Naughty boy!! But I think it means he is proud of his quads very highly like we are proud of Dai-chan's expression ability very much.

| Personally I had to vote for Swan Lake. It wasnt the first performance of his that I saw but the second I saw him perform it it became my favorite. Now its all over my myspace hehe.
Anyways I loved how he put the hiphop dancing in it me and my mom were laughing our buts off cause it was so cute. I was blushing when it was all over. The routine was sexy, and I luv that song. I think that song is in Step up 1 as well. But honestly it doesnt matter they are all my favorties because Daisuke is the one skating!!

| I voted for Swan Lake - I loved it the first time I saw it - the videos from USA vs Japan. I feel so lucky I got to see this performance live at Worlds in Gothenburg. Just too bad about the 3A. AFAIC, it's a master peace. Can't wait to see what Daisuke will do next. I'm sure it will be spectacular. | |

Wow, I really hope that he can top it, swandie! My dream is that one day he will win the World Championships with an incredible LP performance that will be remembered forever. Is this too greedy?
