This weekend Tessa and I will be representing the Western Ontario Section with great pride as we remember Ted Dodman. Ted gave his heart and soul to the sport of figure skating in Western Ontario. Whether it was getting up at 5am to make sure the team room was open for us athletes or by spending his days rink side- he was a constant source of support and guidance. During this difficult time for skaters in WOS, we cherish our memories with Ted and will never forget his kind spirit and dedication to the sport of figure skating. Thank you Ted for all you have done for Tessa and I during our career as well as for what you have done for skating in WOS. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time. - Scott

I just came back to the hotel after watching Dai's practice.
He was wearing the same costume as NHK and looked very very sharp.
He landed 4t once, but quads are still not his friend.

However, the overall movement was so sharp and wonderful, it almost brought tears to me.
Then I said to myself, "Hey you can not cry at the practice, stupid."

Anyway, last night I ran into him again in the evelater so I asked him how he was doing.
He said," It is not good but bad either,." I wished him good luck.

Ok guys I am leaving the hotel again for senior pair and then men's short.
It will end around 10:30 pm so late.

Some of us will be here when you come back after the competition, and hopefully we'll be all very, very happy. Fingers crossed...I'm getting so nervous now!
