| Thank you very much for various imformation, guys! You are so helpful! Dai-chan arrived at Quebec with Mao and Yuzuru. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnWfdEIvBNI"I've been wanting to land a quad in competition, so I'd like to make it here if possible. But other than that, I don't want to make any mistakes apart from quad." Go Dai-chan!! | |

| hsuhs and miyu thank you so much for the youtube links :-)))
It's so nice to see Dai-chan once again. In the first video he's pretty serious but in the second video he showed us his lovely smile again :-) And isn't it nice to see him with a beard, even here he's pretty accurate about the style :-)) And Mao just looked cute with the woolen hat :-)
Cheers Gudrun. | |

| Good morning! News after the first practice. http://www.nikkansports.com/sports/news/f-sp-tp0-20111208-873990.htmlDai-chan likes the quality of the ice. He landed 4T with one hand down. He was surprised because it's been a while since he landed 4T in the first practice in competition. (But he laughed saying "my 4T tends to go away suddenly, so it's hard to say.") I intend to do 4T a quad in SP this time. Go Dai-chan! Also, Yuzuru landed quads three times, Mao landed 3A once and Akiko landed 3-3. Yesterday was Yuzuru's 17th Birthday. Happy birthday, Yuzu!! | |

| Morning, guys! miyu, thank you so much for all those news! - Quote :
- It will depend on his condition of the day, but he want to go for a quad because he thinks he can not get a medal without quad.
Well, I happen to think Daisuke will easily medal without the quad (in this field, in December), if the rest of his jumps are landed and fully rotated. But, he most probably will need a quad (toeloop or flip, or both) at Worlds. And maybe one of the ways to get used to skate a competitive program that includes quad, is to start landing quads now. There's also Nationals, and maybe 4CC as well. Enough opportunities. I like how he looks in that practice video: very smooth, nice edges.

According to his column, he began to take his ballet lesson only in Sept. but look at him!! his flexibility and balance are significantly improved. just great!!

| You are welcome, hsuhs and fosse! (I'm not sure how much I can follow it tomorrow...) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYdCdRLMpSw"(Yuzuru) jumped a lot of quads and practiced with full of energy. I'd like to make this competition where I can do solidly what I should do now." - hsuhs wrote:

Yes!! The curve of his layback is back, as well.

I think Daisuke will have a great time at Nationals regardless. He always gives that little extra when he skates at home Or maybe I'm just imagining things

| Thanks for the report. You guys are quicker than me!!.
So I will report who I saw at the hotel today.
First of all, Dai, he jut sat in the lobby, playing with his i phone. I said Hi and told him that I came from US to cheer him up. He says," Thanks" in a very shy voice.
I saw Watabe running around the hotel, Jason Brown in Elevator. I told him that I love the way he moves, he said "Thank you thank you"such a exited manner. Great kid.
Jason and Yuka having informal conversation in front of elevators.
Anyway, I am soon leaving the hotel for woman's official practice and also guys.
Talk to you soon. | |
