As you already know, the only live event Eurosport 2 is going to air, is senior short dance, which is Friday 20:00 CET.
You can find a working Eurosport stream here (usually when a bc has already started):
http://www.hahasport.com/

Russia-2 is planning to show live free programs in all disciplines.

Here's a list of Russia-2 streams (at least one of these usually works for me):

Guys in Japan, does NHK (or other TV channel) have men and ladies short programs in their schedule?

hsuhs and miyu thank you so much for the youtube links :-)))

It's so nice to see Dai-chan once again. In the first video he's pretty serious but in the second video he showed us his lovely smile again :-) And isn't it nice to see him with a beard, even here he's pretty accurate about the style :-)) And Mao just looked cute with the woolen hat :-)

Cheers
Gudrun.

Good morning! Very Happy

News after the first practice.
http://www.nikkansports.com/sports/news/f-sp-tp0-20111208-873990.html

Dai-chan likes the quality of the ice.
He landed 4T with one hand down. He was surprised because it's been a while since he landed 4T in the first practice in competition. (But he laughed saying "my 4T tends to go away suddenly, so it's hard to say.")
I intend to do 4T a quad in SP this time. Shocked Shocked

Go Dai-chan! cheers cheers

Also, Yuzuru landed quads three times, Mao landed 3A once and Akiko landed 3-3. Yesterday was Yuzuru's 17th Birthday. Happy birthday, Yuzu!! flower flower

Regarding quad attempt in SP, according to this article,
http://www.jiji.com/jc/c?g=spo_date1&k=2011120800269

It will depend on his condition of the day, but he want to go for a quad because he thinks he can not get a medal without quad. And he wants to win, yet he emphasizes this is just one of the steps toward Sochi.

Go Dai-chan! cheers

Hello hsuhs and miyu (and, of course, all others) :-)

Thank you sooo much for your comments and links - it's just great! I get up in the morning and the first thing I see is your comments, links etc. - it's like Christmas :-))))

Dai-chan looks really concentrated right now, I'm happy about that! He'll definetely give his best and I hope we can all watch it live :-)

Yuzuru and only 17! It's amazing, isn't it? Belated congratulations and many happy returns :-)))

Cheers
Gudrun.

albino

Well, I happen to think Daisuke will easily medal without the quad (in this field, in December), if the rest of his jumps are landed and fully rotated.

But, he most probably will need a quad (toeloop or flip, or both) at Worlds. And maybe one of the ways to get used to skate a competitive program that includes quad, is to start landing quads now.

There's also Nationals, and maybe 4CC as well. Enough opportunities.

I like how he looks in that practice video: very smooth, nice edges.

I agree with you. But Nationals... scratch
Anyway I think, as he said this is just one of the many competition until Sochi, he should try or do anything he wants! Very Happy

Thanks for the report.
You guys are quicker than me!!.

So I will report who I saw at the hotel today.

First of all, Dai, he jut sat in the lobby, playing with his i phone. I said Hi and told him that I came from US to cheer him up. He says," Thanks" in a very shy voice.

I saw Watabe running around the hotel, Jason Brown in Elevator.
I told him that I love the way he moves, he said "Thank you thank you"such a exited manner.
Great kid.

Jason and Yuka having informal conversation in front of elevators.

Anyway, I am soon leaving the hotel for woman's official practice and also guys.

Talk to you soon.
