If Patrick will land everything clean - 4t, 3A, 3-3 in SP, and 4T an everything in FS, & if Dai will not land some jumps, could judges give gold for Patrick?

Because I think only Patrick can be real rival for Dai, not to mention about his ridiculous PCS in Skate Canada.

I think yes. Dai must jump more cleanly in any case.

In Skate Canada, Patrick's' PCS were just ridiculous, considering he skated his short that badly. They also gave Patrick the full points on his jumps that he fell on and deducted only the mandatory deduction for fall.

This means that if you rotated fully in the air, your point will be higher than than the under rotated stepped out jump, even if you fall so hard on ice!!!

Does not make any sense to me!

Well it happened at "Skate Canada", so I just cross my fingers that Judges will be little more fair in Japan.

Patrick, you scared me hell!
It`s first time I liked his costume for Phantom.
Good speed, spins, edging. But as whole performance he didn`t impress me.
I liked Hanyu`s more.
I`m glad for Tomas, Miki, Yuka-Sasha though.

BTW, don`t you remember, what did russian commentator say during Dai`s Ex in Skate America, something about music?

I am not a fan of Patrick's performances, but 4T+3T was very nice, and it's Ultra-C element of course. With regard to judging, it have been undoubtedly more fair in Moscow, but to my mind scores components was still too high . Anyway, if earlier people laughed and said that the victory is 4 falls in two programs, now we can say if he has 1+3 fall he is on the second place. Good progress, isn't it?

For the first time I looked Hanyu on the arena and I like him very much.
And I love Akiko's performances.
