Takahashi will return to the competition in Finland

Absence of great existence last year, Takahashi is now preparing to back to the ice and all his fans highly appreciate his return. Currently, Japanese Skating Federation(JSF) announced his schedule according to his condition. Takahashi keeps his programs for last season and rearranged them. Free Skating program is "The Road" by Nino Rota from the Fellini's movie, and this was choreographed by Pasquale Camerlengo. The Short one is a tango music "eye".

On Sept. 3rd, 2009, Mr. Ito who is a head of the JSF announced officially that Takahashi will return to the competition in Finland from Oct. 9th to 11th, 2009 since he lost last season because of his injury. It is one and a half year since he participated in "Japan Open" of April, 2008.
Takahashi is already back in a gala("Friends on Ice 2009") at the end of August and he showed everyone to be in a good condition of physical recovery and technical elements. In the Grand Prix 2009-2010, Takahashi has assigned to the NHK Trophy( to be held in November at Nagano in Japan) and Skate Canada( in November at Kitchener in Canada).

Mr. Ito commented about Takahashi's condition. "Considering what he performed in the gala, Takahashi has no physical issues anymore. Now we have to look how he moves in competitions." In addition to Takahashi, Takahito Mura(Tyukyo University) and Nana Takeda(Waseda University) are expected to be participate to Filandia Trophy.
