| Thanks for the schedule, Leode. This is going to be difficult for me to follow because of the time difference. Icenetwork.com is streaming it live but it would require me to stay up all night in order to watch. I just hope that they can put the on demand up quickly so I can go unspoiled. If Daisuke can land his quads, I don't see why he can't take this. He has one of the most consistent quad among the top contenders. I hope Dai's programs are well received and that he can start his season off with strong performances. GO DAISUKE!!!! | |

| I heard that Pang and Tong have also withdrawn but I don't know why. I was really looking forward to Cup of China but now that two of my favorites are out of it, I'm not that excited anymore. | |

| Oh really? That's bad..... BTW did you see icenetwork's planned program content? Stephen Carriere is going to try 4T in both SP & FP. And China's Jialiang Wu will try 4Lz in FP. Anyway I felt so sad when I found there wasn't Dai-chan's name there. | |

| Pang/Tong did their SP today at least. They're third after Zhang/Zhang and Volozhar/Morozov. I haven't watched anything from the competition yet (forgot to record it.... ) Looking forward to tomorrows men, even without Dai. Can't wait to see what condition Kristoffer is in. And I've got Tomas Verner to watch as well. | |

Yea, I figured it wasn't true when there were no articles. I haven't seen anything either because icenetwork hasn't put up the on demand (*a little angry about that*) Qing Pang had a fall on the throw jump so that's why they're in third. Hopefully they can pull back up to second (first might be a stretch). In dance, Domnina and Shabalin are leading, Belbin and Agosto are a close second, and Khokhlova and Novitski are in third. I am looking forward to Tomas Verner, Stephen Carriere, and Jeremy Abbott. I miss Dai already but he needs to be resting. I hope Carriere's quad is consistent because it's so risky. | |

| Jeremy Abbott won the men's competition and has the season's best long program and total score so far. Stephen Carriere placed second and Tomas Verner placed third. I had thought the order would be reversed but I was very pleasantly surprised by Jeremy's win. I missed Dai very much but the skating here was quite excellent...much better than SC. | |
