| Thank you for opening a new thread for FP, Leode. I copy my post from SP thread as I think people here have to know it before FP starts. --------------------------------------------------- http://digital.asahi.com/articles/ASG2G21CXG2GUTQP009.html?iref=comkiji_txt_end_s_kjid_ASG2G21CXG2GUTQP009After he arrived at Sochi, he said “Well, perhaps there is no pain… well... I’m alright.” “I can't say that everything went well but I have done my best in a way.” He tried to emphasize that he has recovered but we could see his anxiety from his words. Nagamotsu coach said “Injury can’t be an excuse.” She shed tears in her eyes and only said “he's been really struggling.” He couldn’t do any intense practice during his stay in Moscow for two weeks. Takahashi said “It’s not about jumps. To deliver my own performance, the best performance is important.” | |

| Here is another thing I found in twitter. https://twitter.com/b_c_h_e_r_r_y/status/434306191779323906Today in the local TV, an email from Utako-sensei to Sasaki-sensei (Dai-chan’s first coach in Kurashiki) was introduced. “He has been struggling hard since the day of the injury after NHK Trophy. I only hope today will become the great day he will get liberated from it. I’d like to ask you all for help. Please send him your power as much as you can.” | |

| leode, thanks for 3D. miyu, thank you for all info, above all the e-mail by Utako sensei to Sasaki-sensei. Yes, Utako, we all hope today will be "the great day"!!! We are all sending him positive energy and love. 20 years today of love between Dai and figure skating (and on Valentines Day, what a coincidence). Wish him 20 more and 20 more and 20 more and so on....wish him to enjoy this sport each and every day even after retiring ( ) and to teach younger kids to love it as much as he does. Hope he can skate safe and with no pain today. His beaming smile at the end of Beatles Medley is the most beautiful present I want from him. Ganbare Senpai Dai-chan!! You can do it, so DO IT!! | |

Me, too. Jeremy is a great skater, elegant and smooth on ice. Happy he gained self confident for a very good Free.

| Congrats to Yuzu Gold Medal Winner. Congrats to Japan!!! WOW he beat Patrick. Both had mistakes in their programs.
So right know it looks like Yuzu, Patrick and Dennis Ten. One skater left Jason.

| Jason has made errors, but he is so young. And I like his program. So confident, smooth and easy and on the music.
Great Yuzu!!! Gold medal for Japan!!!!
I still have in my eyes Beatles Medley and Dai-chan' warm and deep smile. He was not tense at K&C, he seemed relaxed and happy to be there. Six overall but it's OK.
My love for him is greater than ever.

| Yes Pattina I am so proud of Dai! him. I was watching with my niece and she asked me why Yuzu and Patrick won Gold and Silver with falls and Dai who did not fall came in 6th. I just laughed and said that it was the scoring system and when I had more time I would explain. She is not really a figure skating fan she just watches occasionally. | |

| Shyla, I bet that you will teach her also which great Champion Dai-chan is, how he changed world of figure skating inspiring so many young skaters and showing the world what is skating with passion and heart. Yuzu did great today and he deserved kin medal, but he just followed the path that Dai-chan started so many years ago, when he won Junior Worlds, first Japanese Man. And then one record after an other.... Uncle Dai is Sixth overall, but the first among veteran skaters (Joubert, Abbott, Verner) Will he attend Gala? Will he go to Worlds or announce retirement tomorrow? I am sooo selfish and I hope he goes to Worlds, I want (I need) to watch him skating Sonatina and BM once again. His smile at K&C still fills my eyes. I wish him lots and lots of love and joy in his future life. Go Dai-chan!! You are always The One and The Only !!!! | |
