| Thanks Ostele. I could concentrate on anything today. So we can see him on ice in about 5 hours and 20min?? Ganbare Dai, Please, We are all with you. As one news said he started to jump triples a only week ago But he is a genius and always came out victoriously from various adversities. Remember that mind-boggling performance of Pagliati, also 2010 Piazora both in Nationals? When he is corned, he becomes like "an incredible hulk"and always provides us with one in the life time viewing experience that we never forget. I wish and believe that this national will creates one of those " Hulk" moments BTW, I believe a lot of people know about this already , but if you buy Premium Key module Just $5 for one month, your key hole TV works much better. It is not the best quality of course, but I will see Dai skates live this year. Talk to you soon | |

| Thank you all, friends, for links and info and for sharing your emotions. Genki, I second your words. Last year performance of Pagliacci was amazing and mesmerizing. I read somewhere that Dai himself feels it was the best of his career for emotional involvement and rendering. And now we know he was facing pain and troubles at that time. I want to see The Incredible Hulk on ice And we must not forget that Rascals are going to shout, cheer and support Dai with all their hearts (and throats) and love. Daisuke will do great, because he IS great and he will give all of himself. I cannot see tv broadcasting of practice today, hope for good news and maybe YT videos this evening. And in the week-end....hope to meet many of you here, sharing love and support for Dai. Have you a nice Dai-day GANBARE DAI-CHAN!! GO RASCALS!! | |

| 怪我でGPファイナルを欠場した高橋選手と先ほどすれ違いましたが、ピリッとした雰囲気。かなり集中力を高めている目でした。

" I just passed by Dai who withdrew from GPF. He seems to be sharp. His eyes shows high concentration . ピリッとした雰囲気---Twind, can you help with this? I translated " sharp" but not really convey the nuance. | |

| Oh my god, I just saw Dai besides the rink. He eyes are razor-sharp. Looks like those of a eagle chasing a prey. Great concentration. I heard that his quads were understated, but no falls. Others are all landing quads. | |

| Thank you for the new thread Shyla, and thank you for all the links! I purchased the key hole upgrade. Thanks Genki for the info. I agree with the word "sharp" Genki. "He was projecting a sharp air" maybe? Now it has started!! He indeed looks sharp! | |

| Genki, how do you buy a pass for Keyhole? Never mind, I got it! Not so much better, but at least it doesn't stop every 2 minutes and has clear sound!

| https://twitter.com/asahi_sports"Frankly speaking, Takahashi looked down. It seemed he wasn't confident and also had pains. However, it was said that he limits his practices, keeps practices not too hard. Expecting his different skating in the competition from this practice." | |

| Before going to bed, I would like all of you to remember 2010 nationals. At that time, he produced ou-t of- this -world Piazora with injured body. There was an e-mail circulating that said," Dai was not allowed to withdraw from Nationals despite of his injury sustained at GPF. He is still suffering from pain ." Many people were moved to tears when he finished skating, because they just witnessed miracle where human mind overcame the injury. I still remember that the famous blogger said," Dai was like a bodyless soldier fighting through the heroic battle only with his soul." Here's his performance in 2010. Ganbre Daichan. You can do it. https://youtu.be/dhg2BY6oYwwGood night. | |

| Thank you ostile and Genki. I never forget the 2010 Nationals. He is a fighter!!!!! (Just a quick translation of the news article on the link I put up.) ************************************************************* http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20131220-00000000-spnavi-spoDaisuke came back on ice from his injury; “It’s harder now than four years ago.” SportsNavi Dec 20 (Fri) 16:21 On Dec 20th, a day before the Japan Figure Skating Championship (Dec 21-23) starts, an official practice session was taken place and the skaters have made the final conditioning on ice. Daisuke Takahashi (Kansai Univ. Graduate School) who withdrew the Grand-Prix Final due to his right leg injury fell his quads repeatedly. He said, “now I have less pain but I couldn’t practice enough to build up the condition as I wished” and revealed he is not fully back on form. His comment is as follows: My knee hasn’t been 100% recovered. Now I have less pain but I couldn’t have practiced as I wished to build up my condition up to the 100%. The practice was done feeling out the pain and the condition of the knee so it was not in the usual style and in that sense I do have some tention and anxiety. But I have come to this point so now it’s all up to how I can keep myself strongly determinted. (Q: Specifically, what was your injury?) It was a tigial bone bruise. There was inflammation inside the bone and the leg couldn’t absorb the impact of takeoff or landing. I had a blank of 4-5 days to be on ice. Then I started with skating, followed by the jumping after I got a O.K. signal. (Q: How the injury happened?) It was when I landed a Lutz. I already have had a pain on my knee after a hard practice or such since about a year ago. (Q: How do you feel about yourself in the official practice?) I’m not in a condition as good as the other skaters but compared to the way I was since the injury I did pretty well. I hope my condition rise in these two more days. (Q: How did you feel about your jump?) I think I’m OK except the quad. The things on my quad are that I couldn’t practice enough, I had a little fear in landing and I might have picked up a strange habit as a result. So now how I can deal with that is the question. In the game, all I have to do is three of them. I hope I bring myself up to make it done when it counts even though I can’t make it in the practice. (Q: What about the option not to jump quads?) It’s not something I would feel like while all other guys are doing them. Jumping it only once in a Free Program is a possibility but I wouldn’t think much about such thing and I’ve been trying to keep an image of getting better. (Q: What is your position compared to the four years ago?) Now it’s harder than four years ago. I just was simply wishing to be in the Olympics four years ago. Now I have no next time. It’s not a simple issue to aim for the four years later and the other skaters around have grown so much. It’s much harder than four years ago. ************************************************************* You have done that so many times. We all believe in you!! Go Daisuke!!!! | |
