| Thank you Pattina! Here is a small piece of Shizuka's annual talk with Dai: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6ORLaRsTrEI don't understand a word, but Dai's wonderful laughter is just what I need in those cold days. He looks relaxed! (I think it was filmed after Nationals, was it?) GO DAI!!! | |

| Thank you, Twind! Interview of Mirai Nagasu @ 4CC. http://pigeon-post.net/interviews/Mirai_4CC2014_jp.htmlShe explained how she came to train with Papa Mura and talked about her life in Japan. She was also asked about JN which she watched in the arena. Q: Who impressed you? Takahashi-senshu and Suzuki-senshu. As Takahashi-senshu was injured in the competition, his jumps weren’t so strong. But seeing his spirit of never-give-up and wholehearted performance, tears ran down my face…. Everybody was crying. (I’ve heard Stephane also cried.) Ganbare Dai-chan!!! | |

| Oh Twind you are a life saver I can watch know, thank you!
Mirai is such a sweetheart and she is a rascal too! Such an emotional JN not only for Dai and his fans but for his fellow skaters. Everytime I watch Dai's FS at JN I still get choked up, such a beautiful performance.
Thank you miyu! | |

| Thank you miyu, for Mirai chan's interview! A Great and heartwarming report. She is also telling how Mura kun is a nice big brother to her! I'm surprised that she was there at JN. I second every word Shyla said, so happy to find his fellow skaters felt so much out of his performance! Go Daisuke!! | |

| Thank you soooo much Twind, you deserved a bug hug!! I'm still kinda sad that Mirai wasn't pick to go to the olympics I hope this will motivate her in her skating, she's still young so she can try for the next olympics~ So Mr. Mura is officially her coach now? That means that Mirai will be training in Japan? | |

| Just found this on Fuji tv website http://www.fujitv.co.jp/sports/figure/world2014/index.htmlSo it seems Dai will take part at Worlds....hope it's true, I am really, really selfish and eager to watch Daisuke skating Sonatina and Beatles Medley once again.. But above all I am eager for his knee allowing him to skate safe and with no pain. His health is more important than my selfish heart. A TV alert from Dai's web page http://w3.kansai-u.ac.jp/sports/message/takahashi/It will be 02 March... Sunday early morning in Italy (6:15 am) and I'm not sure if Nippon tv is available on streaming Hope for some kind YT videoloader.... Have you all a nice Dai-weekend (especially the new members!!) | |

| Thanks Pattina for the links. We will know definitely whether Dai will participate at Worlds as I believe the deadline for all entrants is Monday March 3. I would love to see his programs one more time also. The emergence of Dai appearing on TV before the deadline date makes me a little nervous.
Welcome to the new members!

Don't worry about this, I think it was just this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpo4u8NrdLcBut we are a bunch of hysterics here, aren't we? - no offense, I am one big hysteric when it comes to Dai for sure.

| ilica, thank you so much for link. I get angry when tv special only focus on quads, always showing poor Dai falling on ice in practice while other competitors nail jumps near him Hope that they highlight also the amazing, mesmerizing aura of Sonatina and Beatles Medley and the wave of emotion both programs had on audience, commentators and fs fans all over the world. - ilica wrote:

I am, for sure Glad that my avatar makes you happy! First time I saw picture, I suddenly found myself smiling at Daisuke in return, as if he could see me. This is the power of Dai magic

| I am loving all the new photos and Sochi avatars of Dai. Yes Pattina his eyes are mesmerizing.
Yes I am guilty of hysterics too when it comes to Dai which is not normal for me. My family, friends and co-workers say that I am very calm and level headed. The power of Dai. lol Thanks ilica for the link.

| Thank you for the TV alert, PATTINA. I love your new avatar!! I couldn't watch the documentary this afternoon as I'm working now. But....disappointingly it seems it was a horrible documentary according to Dai-chan fans' tweets. They did it again! I hate this!! Please stop it! They asked Dai-chan directly "who do you think the ace of Japan?" in the end of the program. People are saying it was like as if he was forced to retire... I don't mind at all if you media and JSF want to call new OGM as the ace fo Japan. I agree he is new Japan's ace. But why did they need to force Dai-chan to say it loudly on TV? They should not forget to respect Dai-chan who has led Japan's male figure skating for a long time. We can easily imagine the reason why Dai-chan was so depressed when he visited Chai-san. He was too nice to get angry with such a foolish behavior of the media. OK, I have to watch it by myself when I'm back home tonight. I'm not sure if I have enough courage to watch it, though. I have been trying not complaining here. If I destroy the good atmosphere here, I'm really sorry. | |

| miyu, thanks for comment and info. Although it was early this morning in Italy (6:15 am) I managed to have a brief look with KHole. Image was minimum but acceptable, sound was terrible, so after a while I gave up (hoping for a videouploader/translator with big heart coming soon for the sake of non Japanese fans ) The part I watched was a "collection" of previous documentaries on his life/career (2008 injury, rehab, Vancouver...) with bits of interviews of this season. I watched till the interview after SA. Sad to read that Japanes fans were not happy and that - once again - media prefer to stress the duel between skaters and the change at the top. Terrible and stupid question indeed. Sorry if I go Off Topic: this is the video of Stéphane Lambiel's recent performance at his show Art On Ice. It's modern dance, with new movements and great skating "creativity" reaching upper level. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dVmJIVa2GUI know that Daisuke and Stéphane have different way of skating and different styles, but this is the kind of performance I wish Daisuke will reach in the future part of his career, free from TES restrictions and free to release his emotional skating coming from heart and the purest spirit of figure skating. | |

| What are they doing on Fiji TV? How unprofessional, it’s incorrect at least. It’s impossible to drive into people's heads a new hero. Never mind, Dai-chan!!! People loves you and will always support you!!! | |

According to the latest Number magazine, after the competition a press asked Dai-chan "Do you thank to Hanyu-senshu that you’ve gotten up to here? “ (I can’t see the meaning of “here”. The level of skating? Sochi?). Can you believe this?? Stupid, stupid, stupid!!! I think Japanese media is ones who are least aware of the greatness of Dai-chan as a figure skater..... - PATTINA wrote:

I agree with you! I love Stephane’s skating! My favorite his modern balletic program is “Ne Me Quitte Pas”. Yes, I love to see Dai-chan skating such a program free from quads. But yesterday night Takeshi was on TV and asked what he thought of Dai-can’s future. He answered there is still a possibility that he will come back to competitions, as he likes the tension which only those competitions have. Of course, Dai-chan have right to do what he wants to do! If he decides to continue competing, I will support him as much as I can!! - panther wrote:

TRUE!! - panther wrote:

YES! YES! YES! I have to post something delightful in order to change my mood. Yesterday Tatsuki had a lecture(?) in Osaka. According some tweets of the attendees, Dai-chan and him shared a room after the men’s competition was over. First he was a bit nervous but Dai-chan was so kind that it was very comfortable. They were so fatigued that they stayed in bed with their pajamas all day, saying to each other “we are horrible, aren’t we?”, except they went out to eat something. (It seems they had McDonald’s a lot as they can’t eat such junk foods usually.) After the ladies’ competition was over, the three sisters (Mao, Akko and Kanako) joined them when they ate. Rain or shine, we always love you and respect you, Dai-chan!!!
