Thank you very much for the links! I love the pictures of Yuzuru, he's so cute! Alexander Smirnov looks so funny :-)) Although he is a man with a lot of muscles, he often seems like a child to me :-) Mao looks somewhat sad. I didn't see her smile once. What's wrong? She did such a good programme ...

The interview with Jeremy is very nice. We learn a lot about the thoughts of a skater. I like that Jeremy doesn't say something is black or white but that things might have a disadvantage and an advantage at the same time. That's great to be able to see it this way. He sound like a very thoughtful person. The article is just great. Thanks again hsuhs!

I've just watched the ladies' long programme and I'm really pleased with the programmes 1 - 4 :-)

Alena's programme was so intense and beautiful it brought tears to my eyes :-) Alena herself looked so lovely - what a change of appearance - incredible!

Mao's programme was lovely but I'm a little surprised - as Mao seemed to be herself - that she overtook Alena since Mao didn't jump as well as she should/could have.

Alas, it was a good competition :-) Congratulations to Mao and to the Russian ladies, they are so good right now :-)

The pairs' event is over and it was also a great event!!! What a weekend :-)

Alexander and Yuki (Russia) were really fantastic! They have improved soo much, it's unbelievable! A lovely programme, just perfect flow, everything perfect :-) The first time I felt that "this is it" for them ...

I was worried that the German pair couldn't overtake them but it did :-)))) What a lovely programme, they have improved so much - well done!

Looking forward to seeing the men later :-)

I agree, Yuko and Alexander had a lovely skate. Very well done!

But Aliona and Robin are in a league of their own, IMO.

_Every_ season they come up with something new, innovative, refreshing, in a different style. And their basics are pretty solid too. There's no other pair like them in the sport, IMO.

You are right about Aljona and Robin being in a different league but they weren't too good on their jumps lately so I feared they would make some mistakes ... but alas, everything just went fine :-)))

They are great sportsmen, indeed, try different things, know that they have to improve to remain at the very top. I feared Aljona would be too harsh on herself again because of her little mistake today but she seemed to be fine *sighs a little :-))
