| Hi, DTFF members!! I just back home from Osaka. I watched the night show at Namihaya in Osaka. Jan. 9, 2011 @5PM (doors open 4PM) - Namihaya Dome - Osaka Daisuke looked so fine. He showed us his short program and jumped 3F, 3A and 3Lz completely. I was worrying about his right foot, but it's so smoothly to move more than Japan Nationals. I think it's getting better and he will focus on Worlds. According to following article, Evan will have no plan to participate in Worlds this time, but he sent cheers to Daisuke. "Especially, Daisuke, we've been on podium together, so I'm supporting him and sure that he will win at Worlds." http://www.sponichi.co.jp/sports/news/2011/01/09/kiji/K20110109000015320.html | |

| Thank you, Leode and thank you, Evan. Evan wants Daisuke to win Worlds, it's cool (friends on the Olimpic podium are not forgotten ). I am very happy that Daisuke skated better than at the Nationals GO, Daisuke | |

Agreed! Black or navy blue would've been much better!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YlLkw4kZvU I always thought (and still think) this program is better for an exhibition program than short program. Love the shirt! I hope he wears this one isntead of the plain red one.

Yes, but if he made such a program this season, so he'd bring it to perfection.

Yes, but if he made such a program this season, so he'd bring it to perfection. That's why he took ballroom dancing lessons to prepare his programs for this season. Who else could deliver the true meaning of a Mambo (SP) and an Argentine Tango (LP) in figure skating? Only Daisuke!

| Here's the video of Stars on ice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YlLkw4kZvU&feature=player_embeddedII am glad to see that Dai is skating much better than Nationals here. But little bit concerned about the doubling of the second toe. It may be still an effect of injury on his right leg. Twister sister: Welcome to forum. BTW, Dai did not take ballroom lessons. He planned it, but he did not have time. It was mis-reported by some foreign TV. | |

| Thanks Genki! If Daisuke didn't take lessons then ShaeLynn Bourne and Pasquale Camerlengo must have had some great ballroom training when they were ice dancers! They did a great job with the choreography and our Daisuke does a great job performing it. If Daisuke still wants to take lessons I'd gladly be his partner! | |

| TwisterSister, We were afraid at the beginning of season, but obviously even Mambo by Dai looks great as competetive program. I prefer his orange shirt for SP, & this one for Ex. I also have accustomed to his second costume for FS. | |
