| Here is the summary of a part of the interview, where he talked about his new FP. (Asked what the highlight of the new FP is,) The slow part after the step sequence. It's just transitions, though. Still there are things I can't assimilate, so it's very difficult. I'd like people to observe how the part changes gradually as the season goes on. The step sequence is also wonderful and it's more diffifult. But this time what I devote a lot of attention to is transition. | |

| I am watching it right now through key hole tv.
Dai's quad was beautiful. Quality of this TV is so bad, but I still feel that his program is beautifully choreographed.
This will be his another masterpiece!!

| And the video of his FS is up! Thanks for the link! -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGhYEcKllXs&feature=subClean 4T indeed I can't help but compare it to his 'La Strada' program, which was really good. The new program as a whole is ok, of course this program will improve more as the season will progress. | |

| Ah!! I love the programe- although there seems to be less interaction with the crowd than La Strada. Very interested in how it'll evolve throughout the season!! So much potential.
on the other hand.... I don't really like Dai's costume or hair.. heh.

| The program is obviously still new and needs to be worked out, but I like it already. (Besides the choreography, and I really like the costume and hair. ) I've seen a lot of comments in various saying it's not as good as La Strada, but remember the first outing of La Strada at Finlandia? It progressed so much with each performance, and I'm sure this program will be the same. Also, congrats to Daisuke on landing his first quad in over two years!! | |

| Ooooh, I'm in love with the program already! I would have prefered another version of the music, but other than that... it's going to be sooooooooooo good, yay!! The circular step sequence and slow transition that follows are my favorite parts, just fabulous! And special for the beautiful quad! (I'm ok with the costume, but the hair... nonono!) | |

| Many thanks for the information and links, all!! Wow, very high clean 4T which has 2.14 GOE for it. I never seen it before and he seems to have a confidence with 4T already. Anyway, I love his free program, costume, but hair style. Looking forward to seeing his programs in GP series!! _________________ GO DAISUKE!!

| Thank you for all the links and infomations!! WOW! Congratulations to Dai-chan!! He landed such a gorgeous and perfect 4T!! I'm so happy! And look how he gained thd speed for the quad with only a couple of back crosses! Amazing. He skated so smoothly throughout the program. Yes, I like it. I love it. Actually at first when I saw the FP, I was bothered by the music.... Because it reminded me of Jeremy's FP or Stephane's FP. Not only Libertango , but all of Piazzolla's music is too popular in figure skating now. After I repeated Dai-chan's performance a few times, they were gone, so it's OK for me. But probably there would be a certain amount of people who think it's a rather bland choice of music. (I love the music alone very much as I wrote before. I bought the piece and am still listening to it.) I think the contrast of the two programs is really effective. The mambo SP is a burst of passion. The piazzolla FP looked to me like passion burning inside of a man. Just just IMO, he is tying to bring sophisticated atomosphere into the program. Anyway if you see one of them one day and see the other next day, they will work on you synergistically. BTW, I like his outfit and hair. Especially the hair!! (I don't like the hair in CaOI much. It's too curly.) - glorydave wrote:

I agree. Now I start to like it. Also, I love Dai's FS so much as well as his music. So beautiful and so sophisticated. It brings out best of Dai's artistic side. Maybe I am a minority who likes this " Winter." more than "La Strada." I used "Liber Tango" for my tango, but now my imagination is going wild to use Dai's music for my showcase or something. I got to talk to my coach, right away. Can dance Tango and maybe Paso to it. Yeah!! I will choreograph it myself!!

I think I might be in that group too. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE La Strada, it's a fabulous program and it will always be very, very special for all it represents - the fresh start with a new choreographer, the comeback from the injury, *Vancouver*, the first World title... But I find that this program is even better constructed (all the transitions!) and has even more potential. As joyful as La Strada was, this one is very intense and, I agree, sophisticated. And given how well he can already skate it now, it's going to be a masterpiece in a few months! And by the way, it's not just Winter. From the circular step sequence to the end, it's Spring, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah! So happy to find people who share the same feeling. This program, I do not know how to call it, winter/spring? is already a master piece to me. Especially the step work which starts at 2:00 mark and subsequent slow part are the killer parts already. It is going to be an absolute knockout soon, hopefully at NHK? I can not wait. BTW, is it true that NBC sports covers the GPS this year?

Yeah! So happy to find people who share the same feeling. I love the program, too, of course. I still can't stop repeating it. But I am a person who always can't choose which is better or I prefer more. - sana-ryo wrote:
- Hi,
Dai is talking about his new free program. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YUc2yLswF4 He said he wanted to continue to compete until when he've done everything as a competitor. ( ) About his new FP, he wants to break his image in the Olympics. When he listens to the music, he feels like the inside of him naturally flows out of him. He doesn't to want to show off as he used to do before. He want to let out the inside of him just spontaneously.
