| Hi Leode: You are the best!!. I enjoyed all of these performances tremendously. I liked Plushenko's the best, but regarding the steps, nobody, I repeat, nobody comes even close to Dai.Look at this video and compare the move!! Dai's move is far better sophisticated, artful and really a work of genius. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpWo2g93DBk&feature=relatedWhat do other members think? | |

| for me Plushenko has the best "steps", and he is very fast while doing them, but his program is boring. The steps in the second part of the program are beautiful, but in the third part, he does not skate in the rythm of the music. So it is particularly ugly. Patrick Chan: the music and the choreography do not fit to him. It is difficult to compare short and free programs, powerful music (Brian's free) and tango (Weir's short)..I have a strong feeling for the Strada (music, movie) and Dai seems very easy on it and inhabited by his program... | |

I agree in that Daisuke's step sequences are original, emotion-loaded and intricate. However, he's not the only man on the list who's ever been given level 4 for this particular element.

| Thank you very much, Leode!! Very interesting!! So far I like Jeremy's SP most. Jeremy Abbott SP @ DuPagehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaQII2JOvVA Shae-Lynn Bourne is very talented choreographer. And recently Jeremy announced he swithced his FP to Saint Saens Symphony No.3 choreographed by Pasquare Camerlengo. It's interesting, isn't it? You can find a lot of new programs in Nebelhorn here. Leode, you can find Akio's programs. https://www.youtube.com/profile?user=poggipoggi#grid/uploads(Thank you to the poster!!) I'm impressed by Lindemann's performances. He also came back from serious injury like Dai-chan. In his case, after two years absence. Congratulations for winning Olympic spot!! Stefan Lindemann FP @ Nebelhornhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tADv5KFuSEA Ryan Bradley's FP is just FUN!! Ryan Bradley FP @ Nebelhornhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NC8UJvAG7y0 - Genki wrote:

Though it might not be an universal agreement , but for me his step is the the all time BEST. And this is really really off topic. But I think it's nice to share this brilliant performance with people who also has a little interest in women's division here. Yuki Nishino @ JGP Belarus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hk-2iQEcUJ0 She is on the comeback trail from her growing spurt. I'm looking forward to seeing the battle between Russian super girl (I like her!) and her in Tokyo.

| I like ABBOTT's short program , it is dance! Daisuke's step sequences are original, emotion-loaded and intricate, and there is a choreography fitted to the story | |

I do not give a damn about what judges give to Dai's step. It is irrelevant.Do you remember Dai got only level 1 on his Swan Lake step in SA?iy Dai's steps are not even steps any more, it is pure dancing. He uses his body weight and deep edges to create such an artful movement. He does not focus on just stepping faster.(I guess Plushenko's step sometimes seems to be just stepping. So despite of the great speed, artistic impact is less than Dai's.) I was presently surprised with Jeremy Abbot short program.(Thank you,Miyu) He is becoming a dancer like Dai!! Yuko must be doing such a great job!

| Jeremy Abbott 's SP, that's what's been missing on the list Thank you for bringing that up, miyu! Jeremy's skating skills are amazing, aren't they? Genki, I can imagine that you as a devoted fan don't give a damn about Daisuke's marks for the step sequences, you just enjoy watching them. But I suspect Daisuke himself does give a damn. He works hard and wants to be rewarded accordingly. Yes of course I remember that SA 2007. I don't know how he felt that day, but if he was disappointed, he kept his disappointment to himself. | |

You are welcome! That's a superb program which fit well with his musicality. I agree with you, hsuhs. He has very good skating skill as well as wonderful musicality. I think you will be able to see his new FP choreographed by Camerlengo till the end of today on youtube because today he performs it in Japan Open. Sorry I'm biased as a die-hard fan of Dai-chan but... Don't you think Jeremy asked Camerlengo to choreograph a program because Jeremy thought Dai-chan's "La Strada" wonderful when he practiced with Dai-chan in Detroit ice rink? At least, he didn't dislike it.

| Hi Anne-Marie Thank you for the link. I personally like his short better. Maybe this long is too new for him. As Yuka said ”This is the best he can do now, because it is new." I am sure it will be better as time goes by. BTW, Dai's new eye was taken out from you tube. I hate those people who go against the tide of technology! | |
