フィギュアスケート男子で昨季の世界選手権４位の高橋大輔（関大大学院）が２８日、大阪府高槻市の関大アイスアリーナで練習を公開し、フリーで演じるフェリーニ監督のイタリア映画「道」を初披露した。
　１１月６日からのグランプリシリーズ第３戦、中国杯が今季初戦となる。昨季までのモロゾフ氏に代わるイタリア人振付師、カメレンゴ氏が手掛けたプログラムは、４回転トーループを２つ組み込んだ難度の高い構成。コミカルな動きも初めて取り入れた高橋は「世界選手権の優勝が今季の目標。昨季から変わったという部分を見せたい」と抱負を語った。

Daisuke Takahashi had an open practice on 28th at Kansai Univ. Ice Arena and showed Fellini's "La Strada" as his FP for the first time.
The third Grand Prix game, Cup of China which will start on Nov. 6th will be a first competition for him in this season. The program made by Italian choreographer Camerlengo who replaced Morozov this season, has very difficult elements layout including two 4Ts. Takahashi who introduces some comical movements into it for the first time said "This season's goal is to win at Worlds. I want to show the new aspects of me which has changed since last season."

「男の色気を表現しなくてはいけないので、まだ恥ずかしさが残る」と高橋は照れるが、練習を見守ったカメレンゴ氏は「ダイスケが大人になって表現してくれるところを見たい」
と殻を破ることを期待した。
目標はバンクーバー五輪でのメダル獲得。高橋は「五輪につながるシーズンだと思っている。１００％の状態でなくても、まとめ切ることで強くなっていきたい」とメダルへの道を見据えた。

His target is getting a medal at Vancouver Olympics. Takahashi says " I think this season is going to be the one leads to
Olympics. I want to become gradually stronger by performing complete package even when I'm not in 100% condition."

I think Daisuke doesn't need to worry about that. He IS a good actor, he can pull it off. He could also take drama and acting classes, some skaters do that.

Yes.. I have been so eager to see "Ocean Waves" that now I'm sort of disappointed.... Oh, I'm not a good fan of Dai-chan! "Ocean Waves" could be a revolutional program in men's figure skating world.
I've heard this music is the paticular music which Dai-chan brought to Carmerlengo to ask him to choreograph. He himself picked this music, "La strada". I belive him and his choice anyway!!

Actually, he didn't say that he will show "La Strada" at CoC. But he performed this program to the press and it means that he will show this one at CoC.

I agree, glorydave! Based on the way he did Bachelorette, I don't think he will have any problems. I think he's underestimating himself...he does that a lot actually. I'm looking forward to seeing him do this program. I'm concerned about the quad (especially in the short) because of the higher penalties. Granted, Daisuke has been doing it more consistently than the guys at Skate America (except Kevin Reynolds) so he might not have as many problems.

It has been a kind of my dream Daisuke will skate to the beautiful music like "Ocean Waves" at competitions,
so when I heard he will not, I was a little dissapointed, as miyu said.

He's really acting and it should be very difficult skating and doing these movements at the same time. He has to be very concentrated.

Thanks for the news, miyu! I am very interested in seeing this costume and hair now. His short program hair will probably be very neat (slicked back by gel) compared to the long.

Ironically, Adam Rippon is skating to Send in the Clowns! It didn't really look like he was playing a clown though.

Well, I don't know about Adam Rippon but I can imagine what Dai's gonna do. I guess it will be something more like Berezhnaya/Sikharulize's "Charlie Chaplin". I mean that program was as great skated as great played on ice.
