i am a new Daisuke fan. i saw him the first time in the Vancouver Olympics. he was impressive. i am a sports student from Greece. here we do not have any ice ring skate and the TV does not show figure skating. so it was not easy to saw him.

yes that's right. Daisuke is great and he is totally worth to have so many fans, even from Greece.Perhaps here only me and 2 or 3 journalists know Daisuke. i am really glad to be a member of this forum.

Hi! I'm a new member here and am a DAI-hard fan of Daisuke's for the past 3 years! I'm Canadian, and first saw Dai on TV at 2007 Worlds, where he completely captivated my attention with his brilliant Phantom of the opera LP. I could ramble on and on about his skating... I love you

But anyways I hope to enjoy reading this forum to learn about more news on my favourite skater!

Just thought I'd finally introduce myself after lurking for a while Embarassed

I've always enjoyed skating from all the disciplines, but in the past few years, there was something missing from the field. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but I just didn't enjoy it as much as I did when I was younger. That all changed after watching Daisuke's programs this past season. (Thank God for YouTube!)

I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful forum devoted to such an amazing skater as Daisuke Takahashi. I remember seeing him several years ago and thinking that he has such potential and talent, but that his nerves were always his worst enemies. I was so glad to hear that he would be going to Vancouver Olympics so I looked up his programs on YT. That's when my obsession began Razz

I admire him all the more after seeing how he has had to overcome so much. Now he's seeing the fruits of his labor. He deserves all the accolade and much more.

He has become the quintessential all around skater that one sees once in a lifetime. I'm just glad I was able to witness it. Go Dai-chan!

I feel that I am the luckiest person to live and share the same era that Dai lives.

If only i could live in Japan and see all his performances and the shows he is invited.
Because of Dai in September i will learn Japanese.
