I find 77.45 to be a reasonable score for a fall on 4T, clean 2A and 3F.

I'm very very glad to see his comeback to competition. I suppose the judges just felt the same way as me.
It's marvelous in many ways.

I watched that program, I can't say anything useful I'm afraid, because I'm not a fan. The spins are nice.

Hey, I found his vid on Youtube.
These jumps are not quite good, but the spins are so nice.
I also like his steps of most famous part from "William Tell Overture".

Congratulation, Stephane!!
He got a score 154.91 for Long program, total score 232.36. It's very high score and so close to his PB.
Wow, he jumped 4T-2T-2T!! It's really good in spite of the early of the season.

According to this news, Stephane prepared to jump 3A as first jump.

I can't understand why he cannot jump the 3A, he did only 2A

It's hard to tell why Stephane's been having hard time with that jump. If I recall this correctly, in the beginning his technique was flawed. He later went to different coaches and tried to fix it. There is probably some kind of a psychological block that prevents him from succeeding.

The height on his 2A now seems to be enough for the 3rd rotation in the air. I understand he is planning to work on his 3A in the upcoming months. He could be ready in time for the Olympics.
