| Hi, Leode! Thanks very much for this new information! I’ll be looking forward to this event and hopefully Daisuke will indeed perform his new programs here (I love his program "the Eye" so far and am looking forward to see the others too). - Quote :

| Today(Aug. 31st, 2008), Daisuke attend the Kansai University exhibition and he performed two programs as "eye"(coba) and "Air On G-String" (Johann Sebastian Bach) perfectly. Wow, It must be great show. I wish I could be there. Here is Daisuke and Nobunari Oda's pics in the exhibition. Daisuke had a hair cut!! I prefer to his short hair style and I feel his mind to concentrate on competitions in this season. _________________ GO DAISUKE!!

| Thank you for the information and pics, Leode! - hsuhs wrote:
- I wonder if that program to Bach is his another long, or his new exhibition number:
I'm afraid it's neither his new FP nor EX. I rather think the program was made just for the show because I heard Kenji Miyamoto went there and choreographed some parts of the show. I can't swear to it, though. According to Nobunari's fan site( smile wind), Dai-chan performed like: eye:3F 3A CSSp 3Lz CCoSp SlSt CiSt FSSp (He didn't try combo.) Bach:3Lz FCoSp CiSt 3F CCoSp (The owner of the site commented he/she was surprised after knowing the program included only 5 elements and it didn't look so. ) - Leode wrote:

I prefer him with longer hair. So I'm bit disappointed. Hahaha. But he looked pretty gorgeous in those news. Thank you for the vids links, glorydave! Here are the translation of Dai-chan's comment. "I felt bitter hearing Summer Oympians got gold medals. I thought about a lot of things. The ultimate goal in my mind is to get a gold medal at Vancouver Olympics. I'm full of the thought. " (the second link above.) "I'm sensitive to the word "Olympic" but I try not to think about it much. I want to be calm very much right now. I'm in the state of mind that it will be good if I can raise myself up unhurriedly toward the Olympics. " (the third link above.) - Quote :

Me too, Dai-chan. I imagined how I would feel when Dai-chan step onto the ice at Vancouver while I watched Beijing Olympics... And this is the translation of the news below. It seems he will go to the U.S. again soon. http://www.daily.co.jp/general/2008/09/01/0001398123.shtmlTakahashi showed this season's SP "eye". "I was ashamed." He smiled bitterly because of the rare failure in the step. But after that he fascinated the audience with his favorite beautiful step. He asked Detroit based choreographer Pasquale Camerlengo and they've already made 2 kinds of FPs. "I haven't decided which to choose. I will go to Detroit soon and want to do final checks. "You can see some more his photo here. http://www.sanspo.com/sports/news/080831/spm0808312156000-n1.htm

| Hi everyone and thanks for all this great info! Interesting about his second program being special for this show... I was hoping it'd be a new EX. I think his hair looks nice short but long hair might have suited "eye" a bit better. - Quote :

Awww.... He wants gold in Vancouver so bad! It won't be easy with so many contenders but if he can handle the pressure, I think he can do it. Maybe the success of Summer Olympians such as swimmer (and breast stroke king) Kosuke Kitajima and the Japanese softball team will inspire Dai to work even harder towards being at his best in Vancouver.
